Got the sliders Armacoated today, they came out good. Well worth the money IMO now that I've had them done. I'm going to let them fully cure for a few days before installing them. For those that are wondering, Line-X and Armacoating are essentially the same. They both go on hot and dry very fast. IMO they are the best out there.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

Looks good! I had my sliders line-x'ed for 200, and they have held up great so far. Only bumped one of them on a nice round, smooth boulder, so no comment yet on the durability or touch-up procedure. I use my sliders as a step, and powder coat would have been slippery and would look like crap where I step on it multiple times a day.

That's the same reason why I decided to go with bedliner instead of the Powdercoat finish + powdercoating just doesn't hold up around here. I found that out with the steps on my old pickup. Unless you like the nice shade of rust, then go for it. :D

I went a little crazy - sand blasted then two coats of POR 15 then prepped again and bed lined. You can see the raw POR on the ends of the legs and frame plates. They are holding up like a champ so far.

Mounted the sliders today. The drivers side took some patience and a few swear words. They look outstanding!

Those look awesome! And are at the top of our list. I sent John an email yesterday about our situation and told him we'll be in Apple Valley and were curious if I could just pick them up. I got a reply back from Natalie that just said sure "Will-call" is available. So... I guess that's a no. Maybe they don't have an actual shop. Either way, seeing this makes me want to get the ball rolling.

I disagree. It sounds like you CAN pick them up, if she said Will Call is available. That should mean you can pick up, as long as they are ready, of course. I would email again for clarification.

"Will-Call" is customer pick up at the door. IE, no shipping.

Yep, you can just go to their shop and pick them up when they are done and ready.

I really like them now that I got them on. I was impressed on how well they fit, because the left side has some tight tolerances and not a lot of wiggle room. That left side does take some patience. I have a big floor jack and just centered the slider on the pad of the jack and slid it in, jacked it up, put some jack stands on each side, and then put the back brackets/bolts on. Some of the bolts there wasn't enough room to get both the flat washer and lock washer on. I would get it so I could get the nut on and once some of the other brackets are tightened up you can then get the washer/lock washer on. There was one or two I wasn't able to get both and just used the flat washer. I used the 3/8 impact (not enough room except for one or two for the 1/2) so they aren't going anywhere. Some of the bolts it was easier to go in reverse order as well.

Thanks guys. She did clarify which is great, I found a place in Apple Valley to get them lined too. So boom, getting that ball rolling.

We did some more wheeling today and there were places I wanted to go, I know we could of, but I thought to myself, I don't want to chance smashing a rocker panel on a truck I've had for two weeks, lol.

I'm pretty sure it was within the first month I had mine I caved in the passenger side by getting a little high centered, been that way ever since. Adds character. Haha
