Yeah! He watched it pass him and then launch of the embankment over a fence and into a wooded valley. Had to teach him how to back track to the highest point and find the "tire track" to track down where it went.

Our last car trailer we had blew 3 of the 4 tires out on it within the last month that we pulled it. I guess every single tire had a slipped belt and it was just a matter of time before the last one went. I blew 2 of them on my trips going 65-75, that really made me mad. They definitely put shitty tires on them nowadays. And Morgan that truck does look sharp. Now you're going to have to change your signature though, time to let the old power wagon go.

Trailer is about 7400 empty. PW pulled great, stayed between 65-70 in tow mode, through the hills. I used a weight distribution hitch, but was running short on time to get the sway bar hooked up, so I went without and didn't have any problems. I ended up with about a 6.3 mpg (on paper) over about 200 miles. Overall, I was happy with the PW performance.

Side note: I purchased my hitch setup from etrailer.com for $257.95 to the house. The rv dealership wanted $750 for there's installed so I set it up myself, and it worked well. As you can see in the pic, I only had a little squat.

It's a 69 mach 1 mustang. I was taking it to get some body work done on it. Have it back now just need time to reassemble her. Nah the PW pulled the gooseneck and the mustang with very little effort. I wouldn't fully load the trailer and want to make a long trip being I'd be in the 16,000 lb range, that's what I have my CTD for.

I've been thinking of getting a low deck goose to haul two jeeps on but have been wondering how that weight would bring the suck in the MPG department. May have to load up an Oliver 1600 If I cant figure out the running Issue, thats supposed around 10k with the loader but only going about 10 miles.

I know the guy that runs Canyon OffRoad park near Fredericksburg. If I knew I could take time off, I'd see about planning a get together. Unfortunately, I'm on a project in Ozona that we are working 7 days a week for the foreseeable future. I'd love to meet everyone and see other PW's.

For those that have pulled near the maximum weight, what kind of mileage are you getting on the highway? I'm looking at a trailer that's 11,000 lbs, but I'm hesitating due to the gas costs. I would be pulling it quite a bit.

It's up there! Yamaha Kodiak 400, 50cc mini quad, 2700 watt inverter generator, jerry cans, chain saw and ATV ramps and some fire wood all in the bed. Probably around 1000lbs. Then add the hitch weight and passengers (me, wife, son and dog) and we are loaded up good! But, with the Hellwig Load Pro 35's the truck handles all this like a champ. Tonight I even pulled into one camping spot that was a muddied up, slimy road with no fuss at all. Of course nobody else would dare follow me so we headed to a much flatter and street truck friendlier spot to camp.
