Even a quad cab on 37's or 40's- they would not be able to keep them in stock, they'd sell so fast !!!

Good write-up but if they use the same set up as on the SRT's the 6.4 will take premium gas and use 0 or 5w-40 oil.

Great engine by the way. Love it!
It's not the same engine as the SRT. They started from the ground up with the new block. And I don't think that the Aisin will be available with the gas engines, only the Cummins 3500. I hope I'm wrong though because it's an awesome trans...

My friend at the dealership, knows one of the main guys over the Power Wagon Division. He said the number one complaint for the PW was the ride, (with normal air pressure) and the axle wrap (wheel hop) under hard acceleration. The closes competition was Ford Raptor. (I know it a 1500 series) but the buyer of the Raptor also looked at the PW. When you see it from that view, the Ford does give a better ride. I know what your thinking one is a Sand, and pot-hole jumper and the PW is a rock crawler. I agree, but in the end, both are a vehicle that can take a family and camping gear out for a great week end away. Bottom line the majority of a $50K truck is highway life, and it just has to give a good ride, or people will pass on it. Ram is getting it right, coil springs will almost always flex and articulate better that leaf springs. (strength? look at the Hummer H1, it very tuff , good enough for the military) Again look at the TJ Jeep over the YJ . Believe me RAM is getting it right, and thank God, I can still order one the right way before slow sales, ends the best vehicle every made (my opinion)

The only problem with the ride on the PW is that they have the tire air pressure jacked up to 60 lbs fur chrissakes! Lower it down to 45 front and 35 rear. 100% improvement in ride. Hell, the PW rides better then anyother 3/4 tonner out there.

A surefire way to find out, walk into your local dealership with your checkbook in hand and ask them.

That's a great idea. I'll just walk into a dealer tomorrow :) By the way, where the nearest Dodge dealer to the Republic of Korea? Apparently, there aren't a lot of trucks here. I've got 7 months left on the Penninsula, so I'm trying to plan ahead for when I rotate back to the states.

I spoke to the sales manager at Santa Cruz Nissan/Dodge and he told me I could order one today if I want, he said he has some 2014 2500s already ordered.

Really? From what I've seen it's a "late release" 2014...

Front axle disconnect. They had that on the 2G's. My '99 Ram sport had it. PITA. Like our lockers. sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

That's what he said, and you know that salesmen never lie.
Funny thing is you can't find any info on 2014s on their website, no build and price, nada.

you can order whatever you want today, there is just no garuntee you will ever see it.

Jeep did the same thing with the 2014 diesel Grand Cherokees. I ordered one in march with a garunteed delivery date of June 10, 2013. Turns out they may not even produce them. IF they do they won't be released until early 2014 and then only a "Few."

 That's the kinda shit that burns my ass !!! Are these people retarded or what ? "Yeah, um, i don't think people would want to get 30+ mpg in a GC or 35+ mpg in a Dodge Ram 1500 2wd !!!" I am SURE they would MUCH rather get less mpg  They did the same shit with the Liberty diesel. Made it limited availability, & then said "see, no one wants them because it is a diesel & that's why sales are so low !!!" Then they discontine it !!!
