I went to grab my jumper cables from my rear under seat storage area the other day and found them swimming in water.
Looking around for forensic evidence of where the water came from, I found a water stain coming down from the power sliding rear window track. The track itself still had some water in it. Upon closer inspection I found tiny gaps in the lower corners of the weatherstripping for the sliding window. It looked like there used to be some sealant at those joints, but time has taken its toll.

Passenger side lower weatherstripping joint. The lip is slightly raised causing a trough for the water to lay in on the weatherstripping. If it gets high enough, it spills over the lip onto the ground. In my case the water was leak in through the corner joints where the two pieces of weatherstripping meet.

Just a dab of silicone in the passenger corner to seal it up.

Drivers side sealed up.

I'm pretty sure this will solve it, but I'm going to keep a close eye on it until it proves itself.

Funny this topic keeps coming up. I never noticed a leak in my ‘14 other than forgetting to close the rear window after a few stinky bird hunting trips

When I traded it in last month, the dealer did me a solid and unloaded all my gear and transferred it to the new truck…he said there was 2 shackles frozen in 2” of ice in the rear underseat compartments…guess I had a leak in the window seal or 3BL too…
