You don't need to move the winch at all. Mine is very happy nestled in the factory spot behind my awesome Aluminess Slimline Bumper. :D

I also think this is a Great idea, for it gives your winch cable a much better straight shot to the spool, so you have less bad wrapping during winching...

Yeah, just the other day i got high centered and the only tree available was at a 90 degree pull to the left of my front left side.....gouged my cable up a bit.:(

When my house is finished (2 attached garages, and 2 detached garages, i'll have extra room to add a front bumper and rear bumper for parking. i'm definitely going with Road Rhino. gonna Lin-x it to match line-x rockers and flares too. Would love some lights mounted in the rear pumper for the boat. tow hooks in front for high-lift points, and maybe tow hooks in back for high lift points.

i'll leave the winch in stock location to start and see how it works. i'm tired of my front bumper and spoiler tearing and bending. besides, what's an extra 100 pounds on it. yeah, aluminuss is lighter but i like the looks of Road Rhino. :rockon:
