I agree with Reloader. While this is the most luxurious truck I have owned yet, and it rivals with my wife's Denail's, it falls a bit short in some areas. Still a very nice interior non the less.

My 2011 2500 LTZ Duramax was also a beautiful truck. But different. Seats were more comfortable (they were softer because they didn't have the cooling feature). Chevy's also drive a bit more car like with the IFS, etc. Sometimes i miss both of those but that was mainly a tow vehicle that i did too much dumb offroad stuff in. PW is really capable of both and is a better fit for me. But i did give up a couple minor things if I'm being honest.

Also there is something i liked about the chevy mirror configuration better. It was more natural to have the little mirror on the bottom at all times instead of just when towing. (I'm not leaving them in tow config either... lucks dumb..)

Did you know it's technically illegal to have your tires wider than your fenders? I found it in some federal regulation when i was researching mud flaps, heights, and requirements. Its also illegal to not disassemble your vehicle if a horse won't pass you in Texas... so...

Don't get me wrong the new Wagon is nice. However, I still don't like the new grill. Being all black on the front reminds me of the Rebel. That said I like my sleeper Laramie. People think it is a lifted 2500 with a winch tucked in the bumper. Its not until I open the door and show them the floor shifter, knob for the lockers and buttons for the sway bar that they realize this truck is the real deal. I like the fact that everything inside the truck says Laramie. It doesn't need to say Power Wagon. The shifter, buttons and knob tell me otherwise. Some like splash, I prefer sleeper. My 2 cents.

It doesn't feel like real leather, I think it's faux. Or at least it's not high-quality leather if it's legitimately leather. Corvette seats feel totally different.

I like more of a sleeper too, but I sure am taking a liking to those new models.

Just FYI, the power wagon isnt the only model that comes with the manual floor shifter. A few other 3/4 ton models have it too (lower models, typically).

Even the Limited/Longhorn Rams have a much more upscale, quality feeling interior.

No, only the center sections in the front seats are leathers, everything else is vinyl. The Longhorn and Limited get 100% leather seats and leather dash. The Laramie vinyl isn't terrible but it could be better. When my leather starts to look warn I'll recover them with 100% leather.

Yeah, the Tradesman generally have the floor shifter. Not the Laramie though.

I can pretty much guarantee that. I'm too OCD and dont have the heart to tear up a new truck. I mean, I use it and get it dirty from time to time, but it gets cleaned right after. My vehicles lead pampered lives.

Im pretty much the same way. I like nice vehicles. I like capable vehicles and I do use them for their intended purpose, however I dont abuse them and they get cleaned right up after use.

It can be difficult to strike a balance. I'd actually really like to have a "beater" truck. LOL, I tried it but I ended up failing at that. I bought a 90 RamCharger that was very solid mechanically and I refurbished it a bit. It was perfect for banging around in. I planned on using it that way.
Started off like this:

I spruced up the interior with seats, headliner and new aftermarket carpet. Then added some steel wheels and larger tires.

In the process of getting to know my RamCharger, I fell for it so hard, in true form of my personality, I decided to buy a nicer one. This time a 91 model.

Then I got in trouble with the wife as we now had four vehicles. So I had to sell something....the beater went. Then I sacrificed my garage spot to the RamCharger. LOL!!

Sleeper, unless you look at the winch, check the locker/sway bar controls, notice that the steps are actually rock sliders, or crawl underneath and see the purple cranium diff protectors.

I purchased my 2016 specifically because of what they planned to do with it in '17. At the time I didn't realize you could still get a tradesman or Laramie without all the blaring graphics and letters. I've been drooling over powerwagons since 2005 and when they went to the coil spring rear suspension I got REAL interested but didn't want to pull the trigger the first year. Good thing too because of the wrist pin failures on the new 6.4 etc. By 2016 I couldn't wait any longer and finally purchased one before the restyling.
