Looks like I have to go to the stealership after all.
Without seeing it myself, it sounds like maybe a ground, or a 12V supply line issue, or the splines within the connect/disconnect part are separated and not aligned.

I use my lockers all the time, I've never used the smart bar. Shouldn't matter unless you have something else going on.

You might not need to unlock the smartbar for the lockers to work, but im sure the damn thing has to work in general for the lockers to be able to work.

No need to disconnect smartbar first. Put the transfer case in 4 lo and then try to lock the rear. If it slow flashes, you just need to move a little to align the parts. Maybe the planets, too. Not sure. But if it fast flashes, you may have a problem. You mentioned no flashing lights, but not the steady indicators. Are they on?

This is in the manual, but it is my understanding that they stopped printing the manual. It should be available on a disc, but IIRC I heard that you have to ask for one. Everyone should request an owners manual, in whatever form, from their dealer. This may help clear up some of the FAQs.

I cleaned and added electrical grease to the sway bar disconnect. At first it was still blinking. After some driving, it's gone away. And I tested the sway bar disconnect, it engaged and made the noise it usually does and disengaged. No more blinking lights. W00T!
