With Hemi Fevers custom MPG tune it's best take was 17.4 with the Diablo MPG booster tune it's best tank was 15.8. The Hemi Fever modified MPG booster tune has a much more performance feel to it. I haven't done a 0-60 or a 1/4mile with the Diablo MPG tune but would expect it to be quite a bit slower. Over all very happy with the custom tune from Hemi Fever and very happy with the Diablo tuner. I'll update this thread from time to time as I have more data.

Hemi Fever MPG booster tune:
Tank 1 15.8
Tank 2 15.4
Tank 3 17.4

16.2 AVG

Diablo MPG booster tune.

Tank 1 15.8
Tank 2 15.4
Tank 3 15.6

15.6 AVG
For comparison do you have any numbers before the tuning?
Prior to tuning my lifetime average for the truck was dead on 13.0 MPG Best tank prior to tuning was 14.8 and that was during the summer. I think the millage is likely to go up during the spring and summer. Winter fuel is known for a minimum of a 1 MPG hit usually.
Hopefully the tuning works just as good for the 6.4.

When Hemifever does the tunes. Does he play with Torque Management?

When I get a chance this week I'll look and see what parameters the tires can be adjusted to.

I think hemi fever actually does play with torque management hense why the truck seems to have more jam between shifts there isn't that delayed build up waiting for the torque curve (from what I've read on dtx)

hemifever.com ! Pretty straight forward you can email Sean at hemifever in the contacts section with questions and he'll guide you through how to do tuned and load shit etc! But basically just follow the site it's straight forward after you purchase the tuner he'll send you an email with all required info for a smooth install/ tune update!!

Think I might have been screwed ...

So, I purchased a Diablosport I-1000 DCX tuner from Hemifever about a month ago, had issues for about two weeks with Diablosport trying to get the damn thing to even talk to my truck, then when everything is finally working I find out there isn't even a Hemifever tune in it! ...

I spent $489 for Hemifever tuning versus $399 for Diablosport's canned tunes, and there weren't any custom tunes in it. There are no instructions and no way to call Hemifever. Did I get screwed here, or am I missing something? I thought this was supposed to be a straight forward plug&play unit with custom tunes, but it's been anything but. Can those of you who've purchased and used these "Hemifever" tuned tuners help me out here? I can't help but think I've been had, or there's a major lack of communication from Hemifever on what the hell I'm supposed to be doing. So far I'm not very happy with Diablosport or Hemifever.

Where did you buy it from? You should have bought it and gotten an email from Sean about the custom tune. You run whichever tune you want for a couple tanks of gas and then send him a data log, he tweaks the tune a d then emails it back to you and you install the custom tune.

I bought it from Hemifever. I never received such an e-mail. Is there a phone number to call Hemifever to get this all sorted out?

Sean responded to my message and got everything sorted out. I sent him the data log he requested. Hopefully his tune meets the hype I've heard. He does seem to care and he responds very quickly to e-mails. I can only say good things about his service so far. Diablosport, on the other hand, could use some pointers in the customer service area, as well as bringing themselves into the 21st century. The fact they're still PC myopic, and don't really care to upgrade to the Mac world, doesn't inspire a lot of confidence ...

For existing units, or do you have to order a completely new setup?

Unsure. I just read it on the website. To me, it looks like you need a new unit. I didn't dig too far, though. You could always inquire about it. Can't hurt, right?

Looking at picking up a Diablo trinity from Hemifever and had a quick question. I know the tuner can monitor trans temp and for my 06' that'll require a new pan with the proper wiring....does anyone know if there is a way to wire the temp line to the obd so it'll be monitored on the tuner? Thanks

There is an OEM temp sensor monted as part of the solenoid pack and is available as an OBII monitor. So simply selecting that trans temp reading to be able to monitor it on your screen should do the trick. I know I use my AreoForce gauge pod to monitor mine when I tow. I know someone who uses the trinity should chime in with the specifics on that soon.

You can change the pan to an aftermarket aluminum pan that has provisions for a stand alone sensor too.
