Once again......I have not had ANY trouble with mine and the leveling kit has not caused me to limit my use of the truck and I DO use it to its potential in the type of off roading I do. No problems flexing through obstacles, no lifting of tires, no driving issues. I do not feel my purchase of it was "unwise" or "crap".
If it works for you then thats fine. The risks are likely low that you will push the truck hard enough to damage the coils. Besides if you don't flex it fully and frequently you may never damage the coils anyway(It will cause sag). You can also damage the coil buckets that were never designed to take the loads generated by bottoming out. The bump stops/frame would normally take those forces (like the forces that can bend axle tubes). So a single instance of bottoming out can and will damage the upper coil buckets with a spacer over 1". I just wanted to be sure folks knew what the issues are and why. If it has not been an issue for you then thats great.

Cool. I am building my truck as more of an Overland-type rig vs. a hard-core flex machine or go-fast desert truck. The only reason I even put the leveling kit on was to be able to fit my tires without fear of rubbing. Otherwise, I would have left it stock. I wheeled it with the spacers pretty hard at Rausch Creek and had no problems. I will keep an eye on the coil buckets. I probably will get a set of the KORE bumpstops you mentioned to replace the OEM ones, but after just recently getting custom fabbed sliders and the custom rear diff skid plate, those will have to wait a while.

Well, I went ahead and cancelled my order. Nothing rubs and the stance looks good, so I'm going to leave it as is for now. I think I'll revisit this idea later when I can buy the whole package.

It seems to me a guy would be better off to buy a whole new suspension system through somebody like Carli. I'm just wondering if the Starter Kit would be the way to go. If I do something down the road I don't want to change a ton about the truck, just make it so it may ride a little better and add room for bigger tires.

 Went ahead and bit the bullet....ordered a set of the Kore bump stops to ward off any future trouble since I am using the coil spacer leveling kit. Thanks for the tip. 8-) They should do well for my rig and the kind of wheeling I like to do. Maybe down the road I'll think about changing to some kind of major suspension upgrade, but that will be way down the road. Kind of like being able to get through most anything with a near OEM set-up.

I just thought I had cancelled my order for my lift parts! I got the refund on Wednesday but came home yesterday with two boxes on my porch from Top Gun Customz... Guess I'll try and call them and see if they want some money for them. Since I already have them I might as well install them. :D
