Looks great. The left ear looks twisted. Can you incorporated POWER WAGON somewhere in the wich?jeep_boy02 wrote:That looks worlds better! Throw a shade in the right ear. It looks like a twisted ear right now.

Re: Group input! Custom grills/decals/covers
Just a quick update on the drawing aspect of it right now.
Working with a friend Karl, who's doing the drawing and such, and thus far the actual rams head is done.
We are working to find a good font to tie it all together with, currently just having 'winch mob' on it. We'll see how it goes and tweak accordingly, he's been working on this most the night off and on.
So.. Yeah enjoy.

Re: Group input! Custom grills/decals/covers
If this is going on my truck--I think it would look better if it just said Power Wagon rather than Winch Mob...no one other than us will know what that means. Remember this is supposed to be a replacement for the grill and tailgate emblem. The grill emblem isn't that big, so the more stuff you try to cram in the drawing, the smaller each detail object will be on the actual emblem to fit within the datum of the real estate you have to work with , which is essentially the intersection of the cross of the grill. The smaller the deail, the less the fidelity, the worse it looks. You can rearely acheieve the level of detail quality on die cut machines as you can with a pencil sketch, so a lot of that detail your friend is putting into the drawing will not translate into the actual die cut emblem. I think simplyfing and including the most salient features will translate into the best final product. Maybe have the words POWER WAGON written inside the actual rams horns would be cool. "POWER" written from left to right on the left Horn, and "WAGON" from right to left on the right Horn might look good with adding extra detail. Just some ideas to consider.

Re: Group input! Custom grills/decals/covers
To be fair, I did ask for something to blow my mind with, and he's achieving just that at the moment. I plan on having a perforated vinyl made for the back window of my topper.
Yes I agree it's a lot of detail for the emblem, but, as an all out logo/vinyl it'll do just fine.
When I send the picture to be it core royalty or one of the other companies it will be discussed and drawn up in CAD and bounced back and forth a bunch between their design team and I. They know what's they need, I just want them to get a good grasp on what I want. Obviously the grill cut out ( large like if I do a full piece for the front of the truck, pictures below) and also, the small one, ie replacement badge for the rear of the truck. And centre of the grill if that one is replaceable?
Gravel, it's a pretty sickly design I can't wait to see the finished product that Karl comes up with.
Also, I realize that not everyone is going to know what the winch mob is. But, I've asked for it this way first because there are a few folks who don't have wagons, but are certainly part of the winch mob family.
Adeluca; we are playing with the wording tonight to see what we can come up with. Karl feels that 'winch mob' will be just right, and is worried that if we add power wagon to it it might be too much.
More photos to come friends.
PS have a graphics designer working on a digital version of this. So we'll see what they come up with.

Re: Group input! Custom grills/decals/covers
Buddy is still working on it, got busy with work, I suspect in a day or two, will touch base with him later this week. I know he got swamped with the holidays and work.
But, with that being said.
I'm excited!

As far as the graphic designers, I still haven't seen a decent design out of them yet, but will keep trying.

Re: Group input! Custom grills/decals/covers
There is a local guy for me that is making a pair of badges for my truck. Once I get them in I'll take a picture and send it off for anyone else looking to have the actual badges transformed.
He Cnc cuts the badge out of a hard plastic ( think hard hat plastic ) then air brushes the design on to them. Will keep y'all updated.
Karls also on days off for the next 8 days, I suspect the design to be fully finished soon!
