Hello from West Texas. This is my first post. Hope I am doing it correctly. I thought that I would be a guinea pig and try out the KO2s. I just got the new BFG AT KO2s in 35 x 12.50 17s mounted on a 2012 PW with stock suspension and stock wheels. So far only rubs at full left turn lock. No rub right. The rub on the left is about a 1/4 inch shy of full turn. Measured and mounted on vehicle is around 33.5 inches from ground to top of tire. If my calculations are correct the tire width mounted on stock wheels is 11.7 inches. Have not flexed or been off road yet, but I do not forsee any problems. I don't have photos to post yet. I just wanted to pass the info since I have been reading this forum for several years now.

I have tried to attach two images. So far the tires ride smooth and are pretty quiet. Though, I never cared too much about how loud tires were. I will likely have to zip tie the plastic in the rear of the front wheel wells to prevent rubbing when flexed. Haven't recalibrated speedometer yet, so I can't comment on mpgs. Slight loss of power, but not much. The truck still has plenty of getup and go. I should have a tuner by the end of the day to fix the speedo and hp loss. I decided to go with another set of bfgs cause I was impressed how well the stock ats held up to the desert I drive in. Sharp rocks, nails, broken glass, rusty metal, the tires never went flat or ripped a sidewall. Hopefully I can get off road today and try them out. We had a rare two day in a row rain so I will see if I can find some mud to get in.

Three more. The last one shows wear the tire is rubbing the driver side upper control arm. That is the position of the tire after turned full lock and then letting the steering wheel return to its natural position. The rub occurs about 1/4 to 1/2 inch before full lock. I barely knew that it rubbed the first time it happened.

Update. Went off road today. Tires were aweome. Not sure if it was a combo of a wider tire or the new tire design, but the tires were great in deep sand and loose dirt. I took the truck to places I normally go so that I could get a fair before and after. The stock bfg ats would loose traction a lot in loose sand especially on a hill climb. I would get a lot of axle hop. The new tires tackled all the usual places with no hop and traction was never an issue. I was being lazy and did not air down the whole day so I ran the tires with 60 psi. I found one mud hole here in the desert! The tires floated through, this mud was a slick clay like mixture. The tread filled like the usual ats do, so I don't think the new KO2 will be any better as a mud tire. But I live in the desert. I climbed one hill that I did when the truck was new. My old bfg ats tore lugs off on this same hill. The new KO2 did not suffer any chunks or tears despite being run at street pressure over gravel and rocky roads throughout the day. We will see if the performance continues as the tread wears. Did have rubbing on control arms at full stuff with wheel turned. No big deal though. Oh and Bullydog tuner corrected the speedo dead on with a 34 inch tire input. With the tuner and a new airfilter my truck actually seems to be getting better mpgs with the new tires! Sorry for the long post!

There is not an all terain tire in the world that doesnt do that. The few new hybrid tires that bridge the gap between at and mt are surely better for cleaning, but even they still probably gum up in the nasty stuff.

Glad to provide some info. I have been reading these forums for a while and decided I better post something and try and answer the questions people might have. That's true about a/t tires they almost always clog up. Like I said I needed sand traction and tough sidewalls to get around. My previous truck was a 2004 chevy silverado 2500. I ran General AT 2s on it and drove all over the place out here. I never cared about sidewalls till I got the Power Wagon and started feeling more adventurous! Too many tire choices these days. I remember everybody where I was raised driving through muddy fields in 2wd chevy 3/4 tons on 7.50 x 16 "mud tires" and not getting stuck. They didn't care about wet traction on the highway because the speed limit was only 55! The tires would sing on the highway, if you could hear them over the straight exhaust or glasspack mufflers.
