LOL! Nice shot! Yeah, I got a lot of funny looks when I took mine wheeling brand new, had it for 3 days, had the 30 day tags on it, and took it to Uwharrie!

Just what I have been told. Don't know from experience but, Toyo MTs are some of the widest 35's out there. So you might end up with some front fender and control arm rub.

Looking at their actual measured width, the Toyos are typically wider than they are stated to be. Example from when I was looking at tires:
37x13.50R17 Toyos are 1.9" wider than 37x12.50R17 MTRKs.

We'll any tire that's rated at 13.5" will be wider then a 12.5" by approx 1" no? On my fourth gen I had 315/70r17's on a 4.5" b.s. Wheel and I rubber the inner fender liners at the rear of the fender by the punch welds. I'm not sure about this combo on a stock wheel id imagine you'd be chiseling the inner tread on the control arms but you'd be staying away from the pinch welds!

You are correct for most applications but the Toyo MT is 1.9" wider not 1" like one would expect when comparing a 12.5 to a 13.5 that otherwise fits the same rim size. I think this is what he is trying to point out 2" vs. 1".

Not sure if you got your answer. I am currently running 35/12.5/17 toyo m/t's on stock rims. I do not rub the fender wells but I do rub the control arms on both sides.

The fender wells are much harder to cure....ask me how I know lol
