So how many remotes have I moved for them in the past week? LOL

Looks like you got the best price at $60. That might be the bottom dollar, I can't imagine them going much lower.

I put in a $60.00 offer - if accepted, I'll have to adapt it to the XRC8 Comp on the Jeep.

He countered at $60 and I took it... lol
So that appears to be his limit.
What kind of commission are you getting again Morgan? ;)
I'm wondering if he's caught on yet... I bet he's happy selling this many in a day or two..

I thought about emailing him and telling him he's welcome for all the sales. :D It looks like he's sold at least 8 of them including mine.

From the current pattern he should counter with $60.

I just sent them this email. We'll see if they offer me anything. ;)
Hey, just letting you know that I received and installed my controller on my factory Warn winch on my Power Wagon and it works great. I posted this link on the Power Wagon Registry forum and I know at least 8 of those guys bought them after me with a few more possible. So, just thought I'd let you know why you had a rush of orders. ;)

Here's there reply. Translation: Thanks for all the sales, but were not giving anything to you. LOL Wasn't expecting anything from them anyways, just passing along a good deal to you guys.

Hi,

Thank you for doing what you did and we are glad that the winch is working great.

Sincerely,
Barbara

I just ordered a 2 button wireless control system online, one 10 amp relay for each button.....less than $10.00. But then my winch only needs two single pole contactors to supply hydraulic solenoids to make it work. I will wire it to a plug that will replace the wired controller and only plug it in when winching.

Heck, I'd still keep the wired controller in case any part of the wireless system failed.

I did both and was happy I had the wired remote because both sets of the batteries had died while not being used
Must be the Tucson heat or possibly the length of time they sat on the shelf before I bought them I guess.

I still plan to keep the wired controller in the truck just in case. You might still want to use the wired remote when snugging up the cable. I've read that it's hard to give real short bumps with the wireless remote.

It doesn't do too bad for that. As you use it, bump it to see how much it pulls in, and leave what you need to snug it up.

Gentlemen,
I received my wireless remote today. I ordered from the ebay link everyone has been using. I have a situation. The plug on my winch is round with 5 pins and a spot for a sixth. The plug on the wireless remote looks like this. Of course you can't see this until you open the package. Has anyone else received this style? Will it work? It definitely won't be watertight. I wonder if I should just try to return it.

That's the right plug. The outside is a different shape but the pins line up still.

Ok. So I guess the best thing to do is leave it unplugged and use the caps to keep both clean and dry until I need the winch. Thanks for the quick reply!

Unfortunately, I'm no help - I bought one to cut it up, so the Warn plug is being cut off. I'll look at the one installed on the truck later to see if it matches that.
