Don is starting to talk about it so it's probably not a huge secret but he has some new shocks in the works for 3rd and 4th gen trucks. If you wanted to run custom kings but didn't want to spend over $2K on shocks alone, he has a new affordable option coming. For 4th gen owners, his new coils are pretty much perfect for 1.5" of front lift and 1.5" of rake with stock rear. From a new truck (radius arm) perspective, you could buy JUST front coils and four of his new shocks. It's not as cheap as a spacer kit but you'd get high quality tuned shocks (not the disposable new Fox 2.0)) and soft-rate linear front coils. You could run the stock PW track bar until it wears out and then replace it. The stock PW track bar is 1/8" longer than regular HD trucks which is the max length you can run with an aftermarket bar. I don't know what the pricepoint of the new shocks will be but I would assume with front coils you'd be close to a grand. This seems ideal for 14+ Power Wagons and the direction I would have gone if it were available today.

This sounds like a really good option for 14+ PW owners, indeed.

Thanks for the update, hope they're a good all around choice when it's new shock time.

We shall see but I think it's a winner.

He hinted at all of this when I spoke with him a few months back... Figured after I saw your truck on Instagram that it would only be a matter of time and its what I have been patiently waiting on... Now all we need is Don's bumper made to work with our factory winch and I'll be in heaven... :D

The gas coils are shipping from what others have said. I have Thuren's standard 2.5 Kings. Don is currently testing the new shocks for diesel applications based on what he said about valving that translates to gas too.

14PowerWaggy, I was under the impression Don's bumper will work with the power wagon if he sends you some additional pieces he has/can fabricate to make it function with the winch. I'd email him if you're in the market. I exchanged a few emails with him about it but i'm not in the market yet for a bumper.

Thanks for the info NickTF... I commented on a pic of his bumper on instagram and his response was, "nothing for the wagon, YET!" but that was a while ago now that I think about it... I need to give him a call about the gas stuff anyway so I'll make sure to ask him...

I asked Don about the bumper and he too measurements. He has to make a fairlead adapter. Also, some of the internal bracing interferes with the winch cradle so users either have to relieve the cradle or the bumper.

I'm sure he can add some material where it counts on the new p.wagon style bumper. Id imagine it's really close compared to the cummins intercooler minus an inch or two because of the fairlead.... There will be a way!

What's this about new shock options!!! Whaaa! So stoked! Good for him be nice for him to be in charge of his own shock designs and not have to rely on a bigger brother company
