			With Nissan. If you are burning/using oil. They will change the oil, then seal the engine so that you can not put any oil into it, or remove any oil. Then tell you to drive it for a specific number of miles. Then bring the car back in so that they can measure how much oil it used. And if the engine decides to seize during that time. Guess what? You just won your case.  

 You have to be over the 1 quart per 1,000 miles to get a new short block.
My brother bought a new ferd f150 4x4 with the 360 motor in 1977. From day one. It went through oil like it had a hole in the oil pan. Ferd did nothing for him. That was the last ferd he ever bought. He used to drive the truck until he heard the valves rattle. Then put 6 quarts of oil into it.
