Ok, so I am new and don't know anything about Power Wagon issues. However a common theme we see over and over is someone posts a technical question but we have no idea what year they drive. And there is now several generations and probably a new one coming soon. If you just add it to your signature then everyone knows when you as a question with out having to mention it each time.
Also would be nice if folks added where they are from. I find myself constantly looking and most don't have it. Example: I get 30 MPG in my 5.7 PW. Wowa, this guy must live below sea level or on another planet with less gravity....Or this sounds like a cool dude to wheel with does he live near me...
I promise the paparazzi wont find you by posting this info.

On another note... Is there a way to change my screen name? I can't for the life of me find a way to change it... I've looked all through the settings in my profile... I joined when I had a 14 Wagon but due to it being a LEMON I now have a 15 Wagon...

Hate to break it to you, but the admins/mods have been AWOL for at least almost as long as I've been a member. They show up when the site goes down, but this place has been steadily declining. Lots of potential here. But most of us have transited to FB Groups. There is one full of "interesting" personalities and another one that is just people who actually use their PW that I posted about in the Moab thread.
I asked to have my SN changed in 2016 and Pit said, sure I can do that..... And it's still MikeKey so.
And hey, the model year over on the right-hand side of our profiles only goes up to 2014.
But I agree, knowing the year is really important because there are some differences. And when you've got a 3rd gen guy telling you 3rd gen facts it can make things confusing. But it also makes it easy to reference threads when you're looking for specific information.

FB is so much more complex and hard to navigate. Forums are simple and straightforward. I hired someone to work on things like Face Book pages for the business because they are so absurdly complex. Not sure why PW and Mits guys went to using a FB page. More options I guess but sure harder to use.

Re: Please add a Signature info
If you think so. But I'm in that industry, so it's not complicated to me.
There are groups, but you're right the way they organize is stupid. I'll be looking at a post on my phone and then can't find it on the same group on the computer.
I've been using forums for years, like since the 90's. But, in this day and age, instant notifications and things, and people are always looking at their stupid screens, it is a tad easier for new younger people to stay in the loop.
This place just needs a little love and organization. And possibly a better platform like Xenoforum. I love that both American Adventurist and OverlandBound have post notifications when I get onto the site. That you can like posts, etc.

Don't use facebook. The one company I worked for. Didn't want us on it because of security concerns. It's what happens when Homeland Security is watching over your shoulder. So I have never signed up for it. And have no desire to.
All of my info is in my signature.
