What did you get for xmas

Post by Calvinm119 » Thu Dec 27, 2012 5:22 pm

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Thought I would show off what the wife and the in laws got me for xmas. Wife is a keeper! She got me the 1 ton tranny cooler that I have had my eyes on. My brother in law gave me the superchips tuner. My father in law gave me all the recovery gear and the hella 500s. Mother in law gave me the k&n air filter. Xmas was good this year!

2002 Dodge Ram 1500 ST 4x4 Quad Cab 4.7L Bright Silver, HO Cams, 12,000 lbs Winch mounted behind bumper, 4.56's, 2500 factory tow hooks, 35x12.50 Toyo MT's, Air-Lift Ride Control bags, homemade hidden ball gooseneck hitch.
1987 W100 - carburated 5.7 Hemi/727 combo, 35" Toyo MT's. Ramcharger D44 w/ warn hubs, Warlock seats, 2nd gen center console

I would have to hypnotize my wife to get anything for the truck. I did get a keurig coffee maker and a cordless drill ice auger though! I am now a well prepared ice fishing coffee snob! They are both techno advanced pieces of equipment for sure. Having the family around enjoying themselves was also a good gift. Happy New Year!
2005 Black Pow Wagon mods: DT Profab Steering Brace, Gibson superflow catback single exhaust system, Locker Bypass, Moog ball joints (see how long they last), New OEM track bar bushings, T-steering upgrade w/ Bilstein 5100 steering damper, Power everything, Heated leather seats, (keeps the better half happy), Rear window defrost, Bilstein 5100 shocks, 35x12.5x17 Toyo AT2 Extremes, Customized H2 alloy wheels, Original rock rails with family friendly steps welded on, Tri fold tonneau, Hi-lift extreme jack, Tool box along with all the essential PW gear. New winch cable, Winch TPS bypass, Cardan joint grease zerk discovery. New front grille assembly. Magnesium Chloride under coating.

If you ever happen to see me running somewhere, you should start running too. :)

Nothing for the PW or Nismo. My christmas present to myself is the TrailHawk. :D For my birthday in the spring, thinking of getting the TTI headers. :)

For Christmas and New Years we got a 6K increase in taxes...

The new GenRight Aluminum rear bumper for the Jeep, a new DieHard Platinum Group 34M battery for the Jeep, an ARB 20K snatch block and another ARB tree saver for Cactus Red may be the last of the goodies for a long time with that big of hit to the budget.
I'm just along for the ride...

Two Hi-Lift Jacks! Just got one mounted with the Hi-Lift brackets and the other will stay in the garage in the bag unless I'm going on an adventure. Didn't intend to get two, but I'm not going to complain! The second might eventually find it's way on my ATV...

I have often thought about getting a second high lift for the truck and carrying both. You never know when you may need two lifts in different spots, especially for stabilization.

I got a top of the line 55" Sony XBR - XBR55HX929. If anyone's familiar with the product line, that's last year's model. This year's ends with "950." I got it as an open box for $1300. For a $3200 TV, I ain't complaining. That and a sound bar and new BueRay player.

And of course, as some may know from another thread, I got myself an LE6940 in Nov.

note: on the High Lift jack, I have one and had one for years, and have used it for trailers, tractors, and Jeeps, but never with the PW (Have not had to) for I would not know the best place to lift. I believe in the jack, they are great, but any thoughts on where to lift on the PW's with Stock bumpers?
