First PW adventure

Embarking tomorrow on a 10 day adventure in the PW for the first time. Renting this Turtleback off-road trailer. Very fitting trailer for behind the PW. Problem is it has bigger tires then my truck. Need 37s!Image

Leaving home in Southern AZ and headed to Colorado. Doing a loop around Colorado from Mesa Verde up through Rocky Mountain National Park through Fort Collins for beer tasting to Morrison for a concert at Red Rocks. Then shooting through the mountains west to Moab for a night. Then work our way back home through Canyon de Chelley and Flagstaff. No serious off-roading on this trip. Just camping around. Have a wedding to attend at Winter Park so the trip kind of circulates around that. Renting the Turtleback was just a good opportunity to demo it and see if we like something like this. I've been interested in RTTs and/or a small and mobile off-road camper.

Very, very cool! All of that sounds fun! Some friends in Fort Collins took us to New Belgium, that place rocks! That sounds like an excellent trip. Watch for Moose near RMNP

New Belgium tour definitely a must. Also must hit up Funkwerks, Equinox, and Odell amongst others. We are big craft beer drinkers. All our vacations to civilized locations tend to revolve around breweries. Lol!

We just got back from Colorado. We were out there in the wife's Jeep this time. We pull a SoCal Teardrop behind us. It's great behind the Jeep. And it'll go through some difficult terrain. We started with a trailer I built to haul a RTT. Ended up selling it to a buddy with a FJ. Him and his family do a yearly week long camping trip with us.

Check out some of the trails around Silverton. There are tons of Jeep trails with some spectacular scenery.
