Power Wagon shock and spring part numbers.
Power Wagon shock and spring part numbers.
Could someone please take a look at your stock PW shock and spring PN's for a 2014-2017 and post them up? I have a 2017 Ram 2500 Tradesman with a 6.4 Hemi and the 4x4 OffRoad Package, and would like to add just a slight lift using OEM components. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. The part numbers should be an 8 digit number followed by AA or AB depending on any revisions.
Thanks, Jason
Thanks, Jason
Re: Power Wagon shock and spring part numbers.
So, you have a 2014-2017 Tradesman (regular 2500---meaning NOT A POWER WAGON) and want to use Power Wagon parts to get the 1.5"-2" lift ?
Re: Power Wagon shock and spring part numbers.
Yep. 2017 with OffRoad PKG, and want to use the OE components to get a slightly higer lift without going aftermarket. All I need is for someone to look under their vehicle and give me the part numbers off of the springs/shocks themselves, and I can order them online. It will be an eight digit number followed by a two digit letter sequence.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I did this swap with a 2500 owner. You need Springs, shocks, front track bar, rear sway links, and power hop dampened (if you have one). Also consider a rear track bar drop because the Power Wagon's rear axle has track bar geometry changes built into it.

The off road package equipped trucks I have seen on the lots APPEAR to be dang near as tall as my truck in the back (never measured them).

Thank you good sir!!!olyelr wrote:Heres what is under my 2016...

If you have the front and rear track bar numbers as well, that would be awesome. Thank you again for those numbers. You helped a ton.

The truck as a whole is really tall, but It isn't as tall as the PW. And it looks like the spring numbers are indeed different.olyelr wrote:The off road package equipped trucks I have seen on the lots APPEAR to be dang near as tall as my truck in the back (never measured them).
Thank you for that info. I'll do those as well.Reloaderguy wrote:I did this swap with a 2500 owner. I have heard that before, too. The rear spring numbers are the same, and the front passenger spring doesnt have a tag on it anymore so I cant confirm that.coder wrote:Often the left and right springs a different you might to check for that as well.olyelr wrote:Heres what is under my 2016...

Re: Power Wagon shock and spring part numbers.
Oh, and the sticker for the front track bar part number is too worn off to read the numbers, and the rear track bar doesnt have a sticker on it at all.
Personally, the only thing I would do for the rear is install Thurens trackbar and bracket... way better setup. For the front, might as well buy an adjustable one like Thurens too.

Re: Power Wagon shock and spring part numbers.
Very true.
I did find the front bar part number. It is 68193870AC for anyone that wants to know. Rock Auto has new OEM Mopar for $166.
