Come out for the Moab meet. Your mind will be blown. We are planning on about 3 weeks of our trip being in Southern Utah, it is that beautiful and fun. You can get as lost as you want out there. The West may be full of deserts, but every desert is a completely different geography.

It will still shift down - just wont go to a higher gear above your "+" setting. (Twin doesn't use 5th or 6th) :o[/quote]

He's saying that the +/- button only lets you limit the highest gear available to the transmission. If you have it set on 4, the truck can still downshift as it deems necessary.

So, then the answer to my question is NO. It will still downshift at IT'S discretion & upshift (as long as it don't go past the set + gear) as well. IMHO, that sucks. I towed in 4th & 5th mostly with our old 10,500 lb camper. This new 3500 lb one, I can even use 6th when towing.

I don't think it's too much to ask to be able to keep it in a certain gear, regardless of rpm. I mean they DO HAVE rev limiters on the engine anyways. The Hemi makes its best power above 4000 rpms. Mine sings pretty damn good @ 5500 rpms. That was it's happy spot when pulling hills with our 10,500 lb Toy Hauler.

thats it im sold! WINCH IT! we need a "winch it" emoji

thats actually what the truck i ordered looks like
Congrats! Yeah its down to the black OR white one for me...The white is really growing on me.
Thank you. I really like the white. Silver looks good too. The black looks really good especially with the ghosted graphics but black sucks to keep looking good. My truck(daily) and my mustang are black and it's a PITA to keep them clean

I'm sure that new cable isn't going to snap, but those folks are all way to close and in the line of fire, and a FREAKING hoodie? Come on guys.

They were out on the Logandale Trail System, on the Shetter Trail, and part of Bronco Falls. You are right, it is on the back side of the Valley of Fire. Every year on the week end after SEMA my off-road club puts on an annual event called Hump & Bump. There are a lot of various trails, most cater to Jeep sized vehicle, but as the video shows, the big boys can play too.

We spent an afternoon exploring around there. It was right after we bought the PW because we picked her up in Henderson, NV and where camping out by Lake Mead. There is some camping back there too, and I was surprised how crowded it was in the middle of the week too. One of these days, I'd like to get back down there.

If you are planning a trip, let me know and I can help show you around the area. I could probably get some of the Jeep guys to come out and play too
