Try fitting one of your current ones in there. Bet it squeezes in with no drama.

adeluca73, you might as well go 37s. You already have the gearing so why not? You will regret it if you dont!

Well got the leveling kit put on, but the guy I wanted to do it couldn't get to it for a few days and I had to have it done it was killing me. So went else where and to make a long story short, the people putting it on knew everything about 4x4''s and I didn't know anything about my truck didn't listen to me when I said it's not a regular 2500 it's got lockers, well they ripped my locker wires out when jacking it up, they got the oe pig tail from dodge and "fixed" it. What is the easiest way to check to make sure my front lockers are working, when I engage them the light blinks and then goes on solid, but I just want to make sure.

You should feel the axle hopping or dragging (rear) if you make a turn. For the front, it will be very difficult to turn left or right when engaged. The truck will want to go straight. That is the easiest. The rest involve jacking up the truck.

Jacking up the truck isn't really what I was wanting to do right now since I'm recovering from hernia surgery and I figured that was what I was going to have to do, but I think I will go out in the pasture and try what you said, I didn't even think about that, thanks

I just installed this kit on my 2016. I had to modify it to get it to work.

The rubber isolator would not slip on to the spacer as the center spud on the spacer was to long.
Image

Here I have the spacer flipped 180 deg. to show the difference in the factory spring bucket center spud and the spacer spud.
Image

This is how much I had to cut off the spud to get the isolator to sit flush. Primed and painted and installed.

I wonder if the longer center spud is designed to hold the spring at full droop? Bad design or intended?

Center spud won't even fit through the isolator and "HAS" to be cut down because if fits in a recess in the isolator.

Can the isolator be cut to allow the spud to pass through it, thus providing the length to hold the spring at full droop?

So apparently the spring and isolater size is different between pw and normal 2500s?

So I have a curiosity question. I've had lifted trucks, leveled trucks, etc , but I'm not seeing a reason to level my 16 PW. I put Toyo RT 35's on it and have no rubbing. Have no desire to go to 37s. I also tow a 7k dry 8500ish wet travel trailer so don't mind the extra height in the back. Am I just missing something on not leveling? I usually do it for tire fit.

It's perfectly valid to not lift or level a PW. It's your truck, do what you want to do with it.

When my stock Duratracs wear out I'll be replacing them with 35" tires so I get a little more clearance under the diffs and ends of the radius arms, but still have room for chains. No plans for a level or need for a lift over here.

Leveling is mainly, well, just for that. The pw, at least mine anyway, is about 1.5" lower in the front. If i wanted a level truck, I would put a 1.5" spacer up front (or Thurens overland kit :D ).

Extra clearance would be nice. I hit the bumper and rockers a lot on mild trails. Disappointed the Thuren kit doesn't offer any rear lift.
