what has your expierence been like with FCA Canada ?

Post by 2015powerwagon » Mon Jun 20, 2016 9:40 pm

I am currently going threw a horrible experience with my local dealer and FCA Canada , truck has been at the dealer for a combined 11 weeks with the last trip there on may 2 nd and its still there too date . FCA Canada has set myself up with a case manager and its like pulling teeth . truck 2015 powerwagon had a loud lower end knock and was set for a full engine replacement on may 2nd , dealer ordered an engine got it in stock and set the date for install for may2nd/16 . truck sat on the lot for 3 weeks before I finally called FCA Canada to let them know about this , and they contacted my local dealer and there service manager was not even aware my truck was on the lot nor was he aware that someone had ordered a new full engine for my truck . proper protocol was not followed and I have too pay for it . at this point the truck was there a month . and FCA was refusing to cover the engine under warranty and requested a bunch of measurements on the engine internals , the dealer had there engine tech spend nearly 30 hrs removing the engine , tearing it apart looking for the cause of the knock . all this with a new engine sitting in a crate next too my truck . so it sat in there shop for another week + finally FCA decided to issue a short block replacement even thought they admit they did not ever find the cause of the knock , another 2 weeks go past they now have the short block in stock and are rebuilding the engine using all my old parts minus the short block . No one cares , no one offered me any apology or compensation and I am dealer with a service manager that will not even call me too give updates . there service is horrific ! there service manager will only text me in his personal cell phone which I feel is very unprofessional . it is not june 20 th and I still have not heard any new news on my truck . I might add my truck only has 11700 kms on it . I am beyond discussed with the way I have been treated by both parties !

I find facebook posts on the company's page is a great way to get fast and speedy resolution to issues. No major company like that likes bad press, and posting on a small board like this won't get the attention you need.

I had an issue with the Brick Canada not delivering a sofa I paid for in full. Local store kept giving me the run around "Oh it'll be here tomorrow" bs for like 2 weeks. I post one message on Brick's fb page and a manager from the Brick Canada called me said the sofa will be there tomorrow and sure enough local store called said it was in. Picked it up that day.

Just don't go swearing but state the story.
