4th gen winch on a 3rd gen?

Anybody know if the 4th gen winch bracket will fit a 3rd gen truck? Didn't know if they changed frames or anything just got offered a great deal on a 2014 winch and bracket just wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting my money

Not quite sure ... I've scoured the Internet, but can't find different part numbers for the two. I could have sworn they were different, but can't seem to verify. Might be worth calling a dealership to verify.

I don't know how a 4G winch mounts up, but this is how the winch and cradle mount on a 3G ...

Found a guy 20 mins from me that has 2 4th gen winchs brand new never used with mounting bracket for $900 don't wanna miss a good deal lol

It's a big off-road shop not worried about them being stolen lol and it's $900 each not for both

Thats still a pretty damn good deal with the mount.

The winch should work fine, although maybe in needs to be flipped? The mount on the other hand, that probably wont work. Im sure the frames are different.

I've got both trucks, but I'm 300 miles away from the 3 gen right now. I'll look at them side by side when I eventually get back home ( if you haven't gotten an answer by then).

If the brackets looks the same. Measure the distance across where it mounts to the frame. On both a 3G, 4G, and a 4.5G.
