Help Truck won't start
Tried going to work but truck won't start. Doesn't even try. Tried jumping with battery from my bronco and doesn;t even try and turn over. I can here fuel pump come on. When I try and start, guages go haywire and click and go back and forth. Does this sound like the dreaded TIPM possibly?

Re: Help Truck won't start
How old is your battery? I've seen a ton of threads that start this way, and more times than not it can be linked to a dead battery. When batteries die they cause all sorts of strange issues.

Re: Help Truck won't start
Looks like it is the battery. Jumped it for awhile with wifes car and finally fired up. I think my Chinese stereo may have been on. I just shut truck off and deck was still on, had to wiggle key a bit to get it to shut off.

Re: Help Truck won't start
I would start with the battery.
Next, can you hear the starter solenoid clicking?

If you had to wiggle the key to get the deck to go off it's probably an ignition problem.
