So simply selecting that trans temp reading to be able to monitor it on your screen should do the trick. I know I use my AreoForce gauge pod to monitor mine when I tow. I know someone who uses the trinity should chime in with the specifics on that soon.

You can change the pan to an aftermarket aluminum pan that has provisions for a stand alone sensor too..
That's what I did.

I have a Trinity and when I first got it it wouldn't talk to my truck either .I had to email Diablo and get something else loaded on it to work. I've been thinking about getting a hemifever tune. Is it worth it?

Yes, there's a "standard tune" preloaded, with Sean, he has you log a few miles at varying speeds where you live with your trucks weight, tires, etc..., then adjusts the tune accordingly. Mine made a BIG difference when he tuned mine.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

So just the other day plugged mine in I'll say outta the box the stock tunes are very noticeable. The truck pulls through the gears like it's trying to prove a point. I can't wait to see what the custom tune does

I'm sure a lot depends on your area, truck set up, etc... but I saw that with the stock tune and felt it had picked up plenty of power, then Sean tweaked it and it went to barking 37's hitting second :D I've learned that playing with the tire size and shift point rpms can and will change things a good bit. If I'm hauling I'll turn down the shift points but if I want to play, I let it scream on up before it shifts. Big difference from 5650 shift to 6200 shift.

It doesn't go past 120mph on the dash, even with the high beams on, I had to slow down to let the light get back in front of me.

I've GPS'd it at 125mph with the Garmin, miles per gallon??, more like gallons per mile.

I got mine from Moes and added the Hemifever tune, soon after I got an email from Sean

This is the one I have, I dont care to have anything on the dash, plug in, make changes, unplug, place in glove box and roll out. http://www.moes-performance.com/DiabloS ... /i2010.htm

Oh, and I used the scan tool a week or so ago when my check engine light came on after leaving my gas cap too loose. You can check the codes and clear them with it also.

You can either go to the hemifever website or Moe's performance website, either way it is the same price. You install a tune and send him the last tune written and he will send you a 87 and 93 octane tune. You run 3 tanks of 93 and send him a data log, he looks at it and if something looks off he will modify the tune and send it back to you. From the sound of it the 5.7 trucks respond well to it better than the 6.4 trucks.

Shoot.
Don't think 93 octane tune is a option for me out here in Cali....
91 is prob the best I can count on. And thanks for the tips!
I am a bit nervous with my low computer skills. Might have to have my 11 year old daughter be my assistant when I get the programer.

He has 91 octane tunes as well. He will literally walk you through step by step if you need him to.

Does anyone have a diablo tuner on a 14? And if so does it do anything about the traction control or the lockers? There website says it does but I'm not so sure. Thanks!

It's listed in adjustable parameters. I'd probably pay the $1K for the new ECU and tuner to get that function. Probably should call to verify they actually mean PW electric lockers and not something else.

When you actually select a vehicle that parameter disappears.
Adjustable Parameters

Most supported vehicles offer the ability to remove the top speed limiter, adjust the speedometer for gear and tire size changes, modify transmission shifting, and much more! For a specific list of what parameters and modifiable options are available for your car or truck, select your vehicle from the pull down menu above.

You select your vehicle and it lists the parameters for that vehicle. In saying this, we should be able to lock the diffs up anytime according to Diablo.
Perhaps there was an update and someone with one of these programmers should check it out and report back to us. This would be huge. I was looking at a separate locker bypass but if I can spend a couple hundred more and get a programmer and keep all wiring factory that would be sweet. The less rewriting the better.

Since it gets rid of that option when you select the vehicle it won't help you. You can always call them, but their customer service has been essentially useless so far every time I've called them. They told me that the tpms could be adjusted a year or so ago and yet it still can't. When I called when I got my tuner in July they told me to buy the AEV procal to do it.
