Front diff issues
Front diff issues
Hi guys! I wish my first post was in the welcome section but I need help. I have a 2015 with around 10,000 miles and I'm having issues with the front locker. It will not engage in 4low no matter what you do, all it does is make clicking noises. As soon as you shift into 4high and turn it makes a popping noise and feels like it's binding up then breaks free. About a month ago I was greasing the front driveline and noticed it would only turn about a half rotation in either direction in 2wd and I thought it was weird. Now that the diff doesn't work the driveline will not turn at all. I also know the axle disconnect is working fine because I have jacked it up and tried it. Can anyone with a 14 or newer tell me if their driveline will spin free like I would think it's supposed to? Thanks for the help.

Re: Front diff issues
Take it to a dealer, you're not going to fix it anyways and they are going to have to diagnose it anyway. The fact it never fully engages is good and a easy thing for then to troubleshoot and fix.willsz71 wrote:Hi guys! I wish my first post was in the welcome section but I need help. Yup, get it on record quick that you have this problem. That way, if the mileage goes over your warranty, you have proof that you had this issue when you were WELL under.
