Sloppy steering

Post by lastmanalliance » Fri Jan 01, 2016 9:22 pm

So for about 5 or 6 months my trucks steering has been getting really loose. Do you think I need a new drag link and tie rod?? I installed my carli track bar a few months ago and that seemed to help my front end sway

Certainly a possibility, if you do need to replace your steering go with something better than oem. I've been through 4-5 factory steering sets and they never stay tight for long. Synergy emf Thuren - there are good options on the market these days.

Would highly recommend Thuren steering parts. I've been steadily replacing everything as it wears out and the difference is very noticeable. Also, a steering box brace is a good idea as well

I'll look into thuren. It's a shame Carli doesn't make more steering components
