From another anal truck maintainer, never ever load anything from the side. That's how many scratches are acquired and the "new" metal must be recycled aluminum beer cans. It will bend with just a hard look.

This^^^ There is NO REASON to load over the side. Ram has thoughtfully provided a large opening at the rear with a tailgate that drops down. I see a lot of trucks on construction sites that look like nobody cares what they look like. No reason to beat it up, even if it's a work truck.

There's my nickel...

Just an update for those guys waiting on an ordered truck. VOTS is down. Guess it always down. The dealer has no Idea when the truck is due to arrive but could tell me it is in transit. I happened upon the option to "chat" with a representative through the ram site. They told me the truck is due to be delivered to Littleton, NH on the 18th (March). Hope this helps.

Put the hook on the winch cable today. Drove through some snow to test four wheel drive, barley had to put it in 4 high.

I'm guessing the axle wrap is much better on the radius arm trucks then mine was

I am curious about this as well.

With the 4 link design in the rear the axle can not physically wrap... but I bet there is still some serious wheel hop! I know my Jeep with 4 link front and rear wheel hops pretty bad in certain situations.

Finally arrived today, finally joined the club... Order was placed January 31st - arrived March 31st. For the record, it arrived filthy. It was full of road dust inside the cab. Seemed like they loaded it on the train with the windows down. Took it up on the interstate to head home, serious tire balance issues at 45 mph and 70 mph. Have an appointment for 9:30am tomorrow. I'll keep everyone posted.

So I'm a little disappointed to say the least. Brought the truck in after owning it for less than 24 hours. The salesman, the mechanic and the service manager all had a turn with it. All said and done, now I have a hundred miles on the clock and during break in, you're not supposed to drive 65/70 mph which is where the vibration is most noticeable. They agreed there is a vibration. They checked the balance found one of the tires would not balance and replaced the tire with a new one.

I also noticed the driver's side corner was pushed in on the front bumper. I brought that to their attention and the service manager told me it was just misaligned. After having it realigned, I noticed the bumper still appeared bent. Service manager told me he will see if Chrysler will replace it, should hear back tomorrow.

Drove home, same vibration, coming from the same location. FML. I strongly suspect the vibration is the result of cheap OE tires. I'm considering the purchase of new ones but the principal of the mater is that I just spent 52k on this truck. Not happy.

No issues with mine, have 1100 miles now and mileage has improved greatly (not that I bought it for mileage). Fit and finish is all good. Dealership detailed it prior to me arriving, truck had all of 11 miles on it. While installing nerf bars I got my first good look underneath, quite impressive. There is some over spay of under coating but I am ok with that.

They replaced the tire because it wouldn't balance but it's still there? They need to put that wheel on a other corner and see what happens. Rim may be bad. However, I've noticed all makes and models having balance issues. Biggest thing in common are these stupid tire pressure valve stems. Makes you wunder. And he'll yeah they need to fix body damage! Tell them you will call chrysler yourself if they don't get serious about fixing it.

I've never had the vibrtion problem you are having, sorry to hear that too, but I will say my truck rides a heck of a lot better with the 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers then it ever did with the factory Duratracs...

Hey man, sucks your dealer is a bit of a douche. Mine was and still is great. I had no tire or wobble issues, love those tires, honestly do. I was having some questionable engine issues around 2-3K miles, waiting for the 2nd oil change to have the dealer do a full diagnostic test. Hopefully they will make it right for you.
