37" tires on my 2005

Post by lastmanalliance » Thu Mar 05, 2015 8:37 pm

Anyone ever squeezed 37's underneath a 2005. I will be upgrading to bilstien 5160 here shortly and I am wondering if 37x12.50 will fit underneath my truck. Thanks

I did bfg km2s in 37x12.5/17 on my 06 all stock. Trim a little plastic and some control arm rubbing but nothing major. Was worth it. Fully flexed no problem

I say do it!! then let us know how it goes. I don't need tires at the moment but really wanted to bypass the 35s and get 37s with stock wheels and no lift. I don't mind trimming and could probably work up some bent control arms if need be. Once the tires are on there you can see where you need to make "adjustments"

Yes, yes, yes try them! :D

On a side note, it would be nice if someone made a 37x10.5 but I sure do like my 37x12.5 (4th Gen, bent arms, stock everything else)

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

My understanding is wheel wells and 3rd gens generally sit up a little higher... They seemed to have lifted our trucks higher and then with the 4th gens lower and then with the 5th gen I think they are back to being higher lol.
