Proof that the diesel PW is a factory option. I saw it on the internet.

Send him an email saying you'll buy it now, as long as the sway bar and lockers are in good working order.

I actually don't hate the new Colorado, and the concept version here wouldn't be a bad little ride. Not a Power Wagon, but still not a bad setup.

Good or bad, if they made them JUST LIKE the concept truck, they'd sell a shitload of 'em.

I don't think Chevy has the courage to make them. Make them in the four door with the long bed and they wouldn't be able to keep them on the lot!

That concept colorado has front and rear lockers, a winch (operated from in the cab), bed mounted spare (duratracs), higher/wider suspension with king shocks, small diesel motor... sounds pretty bad ass to me. But they will never make one.

Fricken thing would probably get about 35 MPG too.

BINGO-----we have a winner !!!

I SERIOUSLY doubt they will ever make it for that exact reason. They dont want to encroach on the econo box cars with a big bad 4x4 that gets the same mileage as our Corolla !!!
If they did, small cars would become obsolete. The GREEN people would absolutely HATE that. Put that in your carbon footprint pipe & smoke it !!!

Like all concepts. Made to get your attention to the brand. How many concepts made it to production with few changes? Not many, if at all.

Chevy knows it would be a warranty night mare. I have worked in forestry, oil and gas and mining my entire career so far. Gm, s can't handle hard operating. You drive a Ford or dodge if you need a truck to last. The gm guys can't take it off the lot without different rims and a lift kit! I'll be shocked if the concept truck becomes a factory order.

I recently saw a 1500 with "RAM WAGON" on the hood and the tailgate in same font and style and location as the pw, wasnt sure if that would qualify as a poser. Maybe just a nice nod to the wagon

Because it's fun, I also like poking the 'tards that try to tell me they have a posi rear end and a limited slip front ( in something that it was never an option). Latest one was someone trying to tell me his JK's traction control worked better than a locker off road shortly before I drove across the beaver dam everyone else in the group including him winched across.

That doesn't but brake/throtle modulation in a limited slip works exactly like a locker...I've needed this alot off-road.
