Group input! Custom grills/decals/covers

Group input! Custom grills/decals/covers

Post by Mpersicke87 » Sun Nov 23, 2014 11:20 am

Has anyone had any experience having a custom grill made, or wether or not it can be done? The more I look at the design I've created, the more I think I'd like to see it done as a grill.

I'm currently in talks with a few free lance graphic designers to try and have a finished product.

Looking for some input from the crew here, and if there would be a following of the design I'm fiddling with.

Currently looking at having a winch cover plate or something to that extent, as well as a grill, sticker, and or silkscreening for shirts and such.

One thought on the design was to add a spot for where I'm from. So if you look at the sketch I have, for the winch ends it'd say Alberta or something of that nature.

I tried playing with it last night to make it look like the rams were eating the winch ends, but that didn't work out as planned.

I'm about as artistic as a brick.

Input, feed back, criticism, it's all welcomed.

And yes I realize there's already a power wagon winch mob sticker. But when I think mopar I don't think Harley. :winchmob:

Better than I'd ever do. I'd put that on my grill in place of the current ram

Like to see the new style trucks and build from that. Just a suggestion. Anything that promotes these cool trucks to the unaware can't be a bad thing.

Well, I can fork out 3-400$ and have a logo properly done up, but I'd want to see more interest in it before I spend the money.

Also talking with a custom grill shop. Seeing about doing that as a full grill inserts.

So get the word out.

Need more input on the design. What you'd like to see for changes, wether or not y'all like the design or not.

Was thinking why do a badge when you can do a whole grill... With custom designed winch mob powerwagon logo.

I would really like one with an LED light bar for a 3rd Gen grill. Without some stupid star/logo on it.

They offer a variety of different grill types some with LED's others without.

Check them out royaltycore.com I think was the site.

I am emailing them about the design and costs, as well as if there's a group buy that we could do, or something.

Personally I'd like a place in the grill for one or two light bars.

Anything on the market now isn't really that nice.

Clarification: Are you endeavoring to get a logo made to put on hats, shirts, and stickers, or is this for hawrdware replacements on our PW's? I'm not interested in logo covered swag, but I'd go for a unique grill (front) and/or rear replacement emblem.

I wasn't specifically looking a that's t-shirts hoodies or anything of that nature.

I'm looking at custom emblems made for grills. Possibly a winch cover removable plate ( just a fancy piece of jewelry to cover our rollers and such) as well as whatever other things we'd like to see parts for.

I'm not much of a cover me in swag guy, but with that being said. If and only if there's interest, I'd look into doing it.

Might do up a vinyl graphic for the truck. But as of right now. I am looking at getting a new sweet ass logo made up. Nothing against the other one but, I don't personally feel that a Harley-esque symbol is all that.... Yeah.

I was in talks with royalty, and it's not a cheap venture to have a centre grill emblem made up. The first one made will obviously be the most expensive, at around 8-900$ but that includes the cad drawing of the emblem tweaked to our specifications. As well as programming the cutter and what not.

They've got back to me on a group buy number. This includes the cost of the design and making 30 emblems, price would be around 210$ each.

They are cut out of T304 stainless.

Would like to see more interest before I move ahead with this project, as I can pay someone local to do up and make a design for us, to be used however we'd like. And that would cost approx 400$.

Or if I just use these folks, it would be 8-900$ out of pocket for the first one. And then a group buy afterwards.

Ideas? Thoughts? Comments?

i like the logo and maybe hats or something. thats the only swag i would get is a hat. but if you get a sweet logo I'm going to get the emblems made. thats what I'm thinking just keep it cheap and simple.

I think we need to get an initial CAD drawing w/ dimensions & have all interested give the thumbs up on the design. We need to make sure it's cut to fit w/in the current grill before venturing out to make one for some fancy LED aftermarket grill. The attachment clips are the most critical part, I think there'd be some pissed dudes if their new $200 grill emblem blows off on the road.

I'd probably go for a hat too I'd guess.
