Hello PW Registry Guys

Post by myoung84 » Mon Jul 16, 2012 12:05 pm

Hello guys! Many of you might recognize me from DT, I hope you guys will accept me over here!

I've got a 2012 Wagon and I just ordered a set of 18" XD Addict rims, 18mm offset, and 35x12.50 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Anyone think I'll have any fitment issues?

And on that note, I hope there are no hard feelings with the DT moderator and admin team. I know it turned into a pissing match, but I can assure you that was never our intention. We are all stubborn guys and the poking back and forth got a little carried away. I can't say a whole lot, but we're working on some changes that I think you guys will like.

I'm officially making this my one and only DT vs PWR comment... I'm just here as a Power Wagon owner.

Sooo, what are your thoughts on my rim and tire combo? Here's a chop that I did last week.

Welcome to PWR! The rig looks really nice! I've got those same tires on my 2011, on the OEM PW wheels. Did your PW come with the black bumpers and grille, or did you paint them yourself? I am planning on painting my chrome front bumper and grille bezel with Duplicolor Bed Armor, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. If you did do them yourself, any suggestions for getting the bed liner to adhere well to the chrome? I have plenty of the 60 and 80 grit sand paper, self-etching primer, acetone, and degreaser for my prep.

I think you'll enjoy the interaction over here with the PWR :winchmob: .....not a whole bunch of drama and nonsense with this crowd.

Well, I've heard alot of mixed reviews on 35" tires, so I called and swapped them out for a 295/70/18. This should fit much nicer and they should only be about a 1/2" shorter and less than an inch narrower...

The bumpers were powder coated, I dropped them off at a local place and they sandblasted them and coated them for $200. The grill is just plastidipped.
