For better or worst the 2014 PW (standard package only I think) now comes with "Raptor-like" decals...

Ugh. If I were to trade for a 14, it would certainly have to be a Laramie without those horrible graphics.

Noticed a few things in the description.

Goodyear Brand Tires: This confirms the use of Duratracs.

Hill Descent Control: Interesting that the PW gets this. I have it on my Jeep GC but will never use it.

DUAL ALTERNATORS RATED AT 380 AMPS -inc: 220 Amp Alternator: GREAT Feature to have on a PW.

I'd have to see an actual picture of this truck before I believed it. That being said, there are some interesting features. I wonder how well the hill decent works?

In my Jeep, you just hit the Hill Decent button (think you have to be in 4-Low, not 100% sure) then use the paddle shifters to control speed. Each press up or down raises and lowers the decent speed 1 MPH at a time. Not sure what the max speed is, probably not more than 5 MPH or so.

The hill decent control does only work in 4-low. Tried it in my wife's Jeep.

Sadly our Jeep will never see 4-Low. Nor will it ever use the Rock, Mud, or Sand modes. Just Snow mode. Probably will never use the Quadra-Lift to raise it either. Only time the suspension has ever gone above normal ride height is when I was showing it off to someone.

I have a hard time believing that's actually a 2014 Power Wagon as they are not even available to order yet, let alone being built and delivered. The orders for them aren't starting until April here in Canada and according to my uncle who works for Chrysler, they won't be delivered until 6-8 weeks after that.

Just spoke with a high volume Ram dealer who told me now it's June or July, and so I'm assuming the 2015 model is now part of the negotiation. A new PW seems more and more like a moving target and when it comes to so many $ at stake, I like to know where things stand. Might be a deal-breaker for me.

The fact that you still can not build a Power Wagon on the Ram website makes me shake my head. I'm glad I have my 2012 more and more each day.

I've heard that they hold off on allowing you to build them on the website until there are some on dealers lots.

Here is the information on the 2014. I don't see why you couldnt get a Larmamie under $50k. I bought my 2011 New for 10k off sticker. I just had 3 friends buy 2014s all for 9-10k off sticker.
There are a few ways to outfit your 2014 Power Wagon, with trim levels following the typical Ram structure. Tradesman is the base trim; starting at $45,690, the Tradesman-equipped Power Wagons get monotone exterior paint and a blacked-out grille. Step up to SLT for a base price of $50,340 and you'll get halogen projector headlamps, LED lights front and rear and one of two versions of the rather loud graphics shown in the photos on this page. On top is the Power Wagon Laramie, which, for a base price of $56,015, ditches the SLT's exterior graphics and adds a luxuriously appointed leather-trimmed interior.

Leather is a $6k option? I hope you get a lot more than that....

When I called the dealer, the guy I spoke with sounded like he did not know what a Power Wagon was, so I transferred to the general sales manager, who admitted he didn't know a PW from a Sprinter. I went to the dealer later that night to see them in person, and they admitted they had never seen a PW before. Completely oblivious to the fact that the PW even exists. No wonder we don't see many on the roads.
I went to our local dealer two days ago and was able to pre order the 2014 power wagon and have it built with the features I wanted! They say it will take 4 weeks for delivery, can't wait. I have a 1998 Ram 1500 4X4 with the towing package and the truck has not given me a minutes trouble! I am keeping it, as it's part of the family, my husband says I can haul my dogs around in it. Hope the power wagon holds up as well. Will post pictures when I get it! Love this forum, glad I found it!

Congrats! I can't wait till you guys start reviewing them. I'm too much of a chickenshit to order something without driving it, let alone in a major design year.

This is what I got from Ramtrucks Customer Service.

Dear Calvin:

It is great to read of your interest in the 2014 Ram 2500 Power Wagon!

The 2014 Ram 2500 Power Wagon just become available for factory order
last week and is offered in the following three versions: 2014 Ram 2500
Tradesman Power Wagon Crew Cab 4x4 6?4? Box, 2014 Ram 2500 Power Wagon
Crew Cab 4x4 6?4? Box and the 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie Power Wagon Crew Cab
4x4 6?4? Box. All versions feature the 6.4L V8 Mid Duty Hemi MDS Engine
combined with the 6-Speed Automatic Transmission.

Our "Build & Price" feature typically reflects vehicles that are within
current dealership inventory. As the 2014 Ram 2500 Power Wagon models
just became available for factory order, our "Build & Price" has not
been updated with the ability to configure the 2014 Ram 2500 Power Wagon
models yet. We anticipate further information to be posted on our Ram
website in the near future, however, no timeframe has been provided.

Our best suggestion would be for you to contact your preferred Ram
dealership as the ordering system changes on a frequent basis. Your
preferred Ram dealership will be first informed as to when they are
capable of placing an order on your behalf and are the best resource for
the most up-to-date factory order timing and product information.
