Mall Crawlers

Post by 2011RPW » Sun Feb 23, 2014 9:07 pm

Just to keep it short and simple, can we get a "Mall Crawlers" section? Since there seems to be some on here, like myself, who aren't as hardcore as the others, it would be nice to communicate with them, and not be incessantly ridiculed.

Personally, I like to see some Power Wagons that aren't beat to death offroad - that means that there'll be nice unmolested ones on the market in a few years if I need to get another one! :D

After all, I certainly wouldn't buy a used PW that looked like mine.

I have to agree with you, nice unused trucks make for nice used parts!

However, if you get to the point where you need to replace your truck, I'd be interested in yours.

WTF??

If you want a mall crawler area go buy a Ford Raptor and go to their forum.

If you ever get your big boy pants on then come back here, you'll be welcome.

Hmmmm, guess I need to go look back at my sales agreement and see where it says that I need to be a self-righteous prick to own a PW.

I tried, but was ostracized there as well. It's just as well, I'll just quit getting on this forum. There's been a small group on here that are patient and helpful, just seems the vast majority are intolerant and quick to ridicule.
To each their own.

I just read your build thread, and there was nothing but praise and good advice in it. Sorry you feel badly about it. You actually use your truck as a mudder too.

Cactus,
I stand corrected. I was thinking about a post I started about the differences of 20's vs. 17's, not the build thread.

I think we all learned a while back to not take verdesardog's comments too seriously. Remembering when his " we don't need no stinking Power Wagon" thread erupted on Dodge talk. Who gives a crap if a guy want's to run 20's vs 17's anyways. It is your truck, drive it and trick it out however you want IMO.
2005 Black Pow Wagon mods: DT Profab Steering Brace, Gibson superflow catback single exhaust system, Locker Bypass, Moog ball joints (see how long they last), New OEM track bar bushings, T-steering upgrade w/ Bilstein 5100 steering damper, Power everything, Heated leather seats, (keeps the better half happy), Rear window defrost, Bilstein 5100 shocks, 35x12.5x17 Toyo AT2 Extremes, Customized H2 alloy wheels, Original rock rails with family friendly steps welded on, Tri fold tonneau, Hi-lift extreme jack, Tool box along with all the essential PW gear. New winch cable, Winch TPS bypass, Cardan joint grease zerk discovery. New front grille assembly. Magnesium Chloride under coating.

If you ever happen to see me running somewhere, you should start running too. :)

Reminds me of the old Monty Python Argument Clinic:

"Yes you did."

"No, I didn't."

"Yes you did."

Maniac,
I don't want a mall crawler, if I did, I'd have stuck with a diesel I had no use for. I just prefer to keep my truck nice, and not purposely break it.
Are my panties in wad, not necessarily, but did I expect a little more comradery here? Absolutely.
I do have thick skin, I was just disappointed with the intolerance of some.

Ducky's Dad,
You sir, are a prime example of my disappointment in this forum.
