Anyone had any experience with this product? I like the idea of one and done.

Might be handy but also how often you need anything but 2" ball. If you do than sure. If you own a trailer than get appropriate drop hitch and be done. Little point for lugging around extras you will never need. Adds more rattles and something to catch the ground.

Here's what I run. Trimax Razor with Reese interchangeable balls. I rarely use 1 7/8" or 2 5/16" but I have them when needed. It's also much cheaper than some of the billet alternatives. Hitch is about $100 and balls were about $30.

Here's what I'm going to get for the camping trailer I'm building:

As much articulation as a pintle hitch without all the clanging and banging.

I like this one a lot. Which did you get? The greaseless or the original?

Last question, do you guys find that you really need the 10" or would the 6" work ok? My PW has not been lifted. I'm going to order one today just not sure which size or whether to go with the greaseless ball or not. Decisions, decisions.......

I like these. :) But my concern would be our factory hitches integrity without using weight distribution... Thoughts?

They have a similar set up that does have the weight distribution. Looks like three height adjustments on this one.

Although there is NO standard, MOST trailer couplers are about 18" from the ground to top of ball.

Thanks tat. That's pretty sweet setup. But considering I already have a Reese wd setup I just need to get the longer drop to get my trailers level... Biggest question I have is how do all the other work truck 2500 & 3500 rams that are towing lowboys with bobcats, tractors & backhoes on them do it safely? They gotta have a higher tongue weight than my camper or 3 horse slant trailer and rarely ever have wd bars...

This was helpful. Thanks. I went with the 10 inch greaseless.

I use fixed receiver hitches, lest chance of failure IMO. I use a 6" drop for my flatbed trailers and a 4" drop for our camper (it sets up pretty high).

Got the Andersen Rapid Hitch 10" with greaseless balls. This hitch is a thing if beauty. Solid aluminum (yes, aluminum, but it's heavy as hell). Probably should have gone with the 6" though. 10" is probably better for a lifted truck.

I have one. Have had it for several years. It works great and is really convenient.

You're not kidding- the 10" is heavy. However, I never want to have to buy another hitch again, so that's why I went with the big one.

Actually just ordered one of these today, in a 7", comes with a 2" and a 2 5/16" ball. Most people run a Reese around here, unless you can afford a B&W, quality stuff:
