I thought someone on here said that their job might take them to Williston… I live only an hour or so North of there! Haha.
So that's what they have to look forward to in the winter!
I don't think I could handle the ice storms you guys get though. That's crazy!
Re: Frozen Wagon
Yup this is the kinda stuff that helped me move my truck to the garage. We get this almost every year in Washington, and its like concrete, it was over 2" thick in places, Have to get up an hour early just to get into the truck, Block heater works good though

Bought 2012 ram diesel 3500 4.10 geared auto. Sold my 06 PW Quad cab G-56 6 spd minus clutch safety switch, Gorilla Juice in trans and tcase, Royal Purple full syn in both diffs, Block heater, Stant 180* Tstat, Fastman ported T-body, Airaid Cold air intake with prefilter, TTI long tube Headers, Magnaflow 2 1/2" dual in-single 3" out, Superchips 3815, 35" Nitto Terra MTs w matching spare, 6" Superlift W-Bilstein 5100. Deaver custom rear 6" springs, Custom brake lines, DT Profab steering box brace, T steering upgrade, Spicer front axle u joints, Dynatrac ball joints, Dynatrac free spin with Dynalocs, Red Head steering box and Borgeson steering shaft. Carli front and Rockcrusher rear diff covers, Corrosion x, Viper 5701V Responder LE 2-way alarm, Husky floor mats, Rear inner fender liners, line-xed bed, fender flares and bumper covers, Firestone Ride-Rite Double Convoluted Air Helper Springs with 6" tapered spacers. Coming..... Crower cam, springs, retainers, pushrods w Hemifever tuning.
Re: Frozen Wagon
Thankfully my truck was 300 miles south of this storm when it hit, otherwise my truck would be covered in ice as well. I've started looking at chains because of this storm. Looks like there aren't many options that fit a 35 inch tire.
How do you go about clearing this much ice off your trucks?

Re: Frozen Wagon
I just drove my wife's Jeep for a few days. Lol. I took the truck to the car wash yesterday and it all came off pretty easy when hit with the hot soapy water. Only took $10 and it's sort of clean.

When i know its going to be bad i plug the block heater in and wipe tire shine gell all over the drivers door seals, handle and door seams as the ice comes rt off when you disturb it. or run a hose from hot water heater in the garage and hose drivers door off so i can at least start it an let the defroster work from there.
