Big mod day at my house, put on a bed step. Probably the first mod that wasn't either off-road, performance, or appearance improvement.

But the truck is 2.5" taller than when I bought it, and I'm nine years older.

That’s a great mod…I installed the same one on my ‘14 for the same reasons…very underrated addition/improvement. My new ‘24 came with a similar step as a factory option in the “Bed Utility Group”. It has a smaller step surface but has a better extraction lip.

I've sold a couple of my kits for 2005s to customers in Langdon, AB and Millarville, AB. According to this thread, there were 282 built for Canada in 2005.

One my brothers lives in Langdon, it looks like a good neighborhood for people who like outdoor stuff, no HOA apparently, everyone seems to have an RV. Millarville is only 15 minutes from the south entrance of Mclean Creek ORV area. Not much else there, just the horse racetrack. And you can do the water ford on the MD road to get there from Okotoks. (My highlight of my Dad's Oldsmobile wagon, he took us through the water ford.)

I believe I was looking into getting the locker bypass kit from you?! It’s been a while so my memory is foggy on it.

I ended up just unplugging my rear e locker and sway bar, and then completely removed the blown up front e locker (haven’t replaced it) and I’ve been driving the truck as is since.
