I cant recommend Maples stuff enough. I have the 3 bar replacement and offset crossbar. Both are great quality, bolt right in and are very stout. You cant go wrong buying anything he makes.SimonandSimonBeast wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 7:37 pmYes, I realized the connection between the two. I did chirp Maple but didn't hear back. I do have my eye on some of his stuff. I'm liking his sliders and 3 bar replacement skid plate.13powerwagon wrote:Your best bet is finding a local shop to make you a “one off” unit, or bother Maple offroad, he may look into it if there is enough interest showed. Yes, his stuff looks stout. So, what is the deal with the offset crossbar. I was checking that out and noticed he offers offset and not offset. Is that really needed if I'm running stock rear leaf packs, Thuren shackles on 2nd hole and Fox 2.0 w res? Is it really possible to bind the driveshaft on the rear bar in that config?13powerwagon wrote:I cant recommend Maples stuff enough. I have the 3 bar replacement and offset crossbar. Pick up the truck by the frame and you should be able to find out. As far as I know the 4 link rear trucks with will hit the cross bar with Thuren or Carli suspension, perhaps even with the bar adjusted downward as far as it will go. According to 13powerwagon's signature, it would appear he has long travel leafs, so you may be in the clear with your stockers.SimonandSimonBeast wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2020 9:23 am

So, I should be ok with the straight bar.ScubaSteve wrote:Yes, his stuff looks stout. So, what is the deal with the offset crossbar. Re: Tranny Guard for ≤'13 Power Wagon
The offset crossbar moves the rear crossmember forward to allow for more droop. It was necessary for me with 12” travel kings and the Lt leafs. I had no issues with the kings and stock leafs and shackles as the axle would not droop enough to contact the crossmember, though it was close. As stated above your best bet is to lift the truck to droop the axle and see what kind of clearance you have. I believe the maple regular straight crossbar has a little more clearance than stock, so if it clears now it will clear with the straight maple one.
