cooper discoverer st maxx
Hi , I am in need of tires in the near future for my '16 wagon. I usually go to BFG At 's but was at the local Pep Boys today and they had the coopers on the store and the tread pattern caught my eye . I am wondering if anybody is currently running these in the stock size and d or E load range . I am looking to see how they are in wet and snow and how long they are lasting. My last BFG tires on my old 2006 2500 (load range E ) lasted roughly around 28000 when they wiped out the center of the tread to unusable depth and I was around 10 psi lower than the recommended by factory . I did eventually after two months manage to get BFG to comp them for 60% of the cost of the new ones. I did not get to see how that set wore as I shortly traded that truck on the '16 .

I just put a set on my truck. Only 50 miles on them. They’re louder than a silent road tire, but pretty quiet. Ride quality is pretty good. Look good, nice tread. I heard a few solid reviews from people I trust to run them as a winter/shoulder tire and that is why I got them.
The limited selection of tires good at snow/ice/trails that also handle the weight of these trucks properly and are a good quality tire, put these on a short list.
