Some pics to share!

Post by POk3s » Thu Sep 26, 2019 11:06 am

:nopics: :nopics: :nopics:

I was able to kill a great bull with my bow and in the process, get my first cool shots with something big in the back of the PW.

Side note - about 5,000 miles ago I purchased some Kanati Trail Hog 35s due to nothing but great reviews as I tire shopped. I’ve been extremely pleased with them so far, especially for a “bargain tire”. A lot of those 5000 miles have been through some really rough roads as I’ve hunted 15 days so far this year. One tire Is a little bit out of balance as it has a slight shake at 55 but nothing faster or slower. For what I’ve put them through this exceeded my expectations. So for anyone looking to not spend a small fortune on tires, I would recommend these. (Knock on wood)

Congrats, great looking bull. Always nice to get some blood in the bed, and it’s a great bonus to have some antlers sticking out for the drive home.

Here’s my meat wagon’s haul from last year.

Thanks guys!

Very cool Low Sky!! I went up and did the haul road hunt once. I killed a small bull on my last day after only seeing a handful or caribou. Trying to plan a fly in trip for the future!

I guess you have a freezer full of steaks by now. If they won't all fit I have some room in mine ;).

Had you been at the right place at the right time you could’ve got some! I had to hurry and scramble and bring my sister her “Christmas present” of elk meat 😁.

I did, going to get him officially scored sometime soon...whenever I remember. He was 359 gross and 352 net. The 4th is around 24”. I believe 23 and change.
