Runied a perfectly good Laramie CTD

If it's about Power Wagons, all generations, this is where it'll go. This is the original PWR Forum Power Wagon Technical Discussion Section. And this includes everything that doesn’t fit in any one of the other categories related to the truck goes here!

In response, yea, a Cummins is a nice truck, but that's all it is, a truck.

And at least you realized you would probably get sh1t for it.

Well on the diesel forums there are guys that are just as amped about thier trucks as you guys are. As for me, it's just a truck nothing more nothing less. If you look closley at the pix of my truck you can see I have even debadged it. I do still get "looks" though....even when the wheel wells are packed with mud.

On another note: I have never met any of you personally but I WOULD go wheeling with most any of you.....I live close enough to Moab but have always been otherwise occupied.

I think it was more the way you said it. On the internet, things can be easily misconstrued.

And I would like that, too, if I ever got my a$$ out to Moab.

I like the looks of the Mega Cab, and the Crew Cab isn't bad if you loose the Rockstar Rims. What I can't figure is why the damn Power Wagon sticker? I'm fine with the other decals, but that one sticker drives me nuts. I finally gave up on my 2004 HD Hemi and bought a Power Wagon because I wanted the real deal. Not once did I ever think about putting the Power Wagon badge on my 2004.

I don't know if you guys are following that second thread, but I think the original poster is an arrogant SOB. After tonight, I'm done saying anything else in that thread.

I really like this rig, but where's the articulation? I was expecting to see some serious flex, but...................I guess not.

Post by 2012 PW ST » Mon Feb 04, 2013 8:26 pm

Anyone else notice on the 2nd guy's silver truck (with the Rock Stars on it) that the "Powerwagon" decal on the back of the bed is misspelled as one word and not two?

He obviously didn't notice or doesn't care. Too funny...he can go rock his rock stars elsewhere.

And I think we should also add "ignorant," to his demeanor.

Seems like this guy tried to stay conservative on his suspension with only 2.5" of lift. His suspension and linkage is not far from stock hense similar articulation. Seems like rig will get him pretty much wherever he wants it. Ultimate flex doesn't have to be a goal in itself. Great flex will always come at expense of other things like streetablity. I think it flexes very well except shorter 118 wheel base coupled with larger 40" tires making it appear less so compared to our stock long wheel base "small tire" rigs.

May I also ask why 90% of the Cummins owners leave their mirrors up all the time - even when they aren't towing? Is it to look 'cool'? Just an observation... Although I know we have one 'kid' on here that does the same thing... :poke:
