Transmission, oil pan, and exhaust protection for 2011 PW

Post by DamageWagon » Sat Sep 21, 2019 11:17 pm

I’ve been working on a skid plate for the 03-13 trucks. The plan has been to make one skid that works for the diesels and the gas trucks. Between having limited access to a diesel in this year range to work with and the trans cooler lines of the diesel autos I’ve had a hard time getting this through prototyping. I’m going to take another look at the diesel when we can get one in the shop and see if a fresh look can decide a better way about it. If not I have a gas truck that will take care of that side and I might just hold off on the diesels for now. The gas trucks have tons of room to work with. The diesels are a nightmare. You could make something flimsy, but giving it any real strength in a reliable, reasonably affordable and manufacturable item is an absolute pain.

I have a running list of contact info for people that are interested when I get it figured out if anyone would like?
