There is no heavy duty on the door on your link that's why it makes me wonder....
I for one don't care if it has the heavy duty badge or not. That silver one (assuming it being a PW) had me from hello. Still would like to have the cab lights for the coolness effect though.

If it has the locker switch & the swaybar disconnect, then it is a real Power Wagon. If not, then some shaddy MF just put a winch & PW rims on one. DON"T TRUST THE SALESMAN.

Unless they were VERY thorough, it's a real Power Wagon!
(visually verified sway bar disco, locker switch, and winch (also has Power Wagon badge on tailgate))
Also, it is listed as a Power Wagon on Chrysler website!

Thanks for the responses y'all! I am likely going to go back sunday and see what happens $$$ wise. (or, may take a look at the mineral gray metallic one if they have gotten it yet!)

On the subject of badging- on Chrysler's vehicle locator, I have seen a couple Power Wagons that have "Power Wagon badge delete" or something to that effect listed on their window sticker so, apparently, one can order an undercover PW, LOL!

The laramies I have seen are monotone, and the only pw marking they have is the chrome lettering on the tailgate, just like the third gen trucks.

That's what I thought when I got rid of my 05 black for the '12 mineral gray. No dice. Now looking to go back to a black '13 Laramie PW if the numbers work, somewhat.

Having bought a brand new 2012 ST back in April '12 that I'm sure is comparably equipped from factory (limited options on the STs), I'd say that's a really fair price. Keep in mind it's pretty much a 2012 left over at this point though. The dealer doesn't want to pay their "floor plan" costs on it any longer than they have to so they should be eager to sell.

Mine stickered for $44k and with my Chrysler Affiliate pricing I paid about $37,400. However, that was AFTER a $3k rebate in effect at time for my area.

True the ST only comes with a PW decal across lower tailgate. However, that's the first one I've ever seen with the ugly 2500 badge on door (and I've looked at a bunch of STs around Denver as dealers had scads of them last summer/fall for fleet sale). No doubt it's a legit PW though. Yes, roof clearance lights are optional on STs too.

Good luck. I'd say Mineral Gray over black any day too. Just my $.02. Post up some pics when it's yours!

Bones, Just curious. What swayed your decision that black is is a better color. I am wanting silver/mineral grey hoping it would hide dirt, dust, hard water spots, and scratches better.

It's not necessarily "better", but I always had black vehicles and when they are clean, they are C-L-E-A-N! I don't mind keeping them that way. Those that say they are too hard to keep clean are lazy  Just love the shine and the look. I saw the mineral gray and liked it, and it's not bad, but it is no black. Just my personal preference, nothing wrong the mineral gray.

So, before
:nopics:
gets posted, here's it before it was mine (had just gotten back from the test drive, hadn't been detailed yet (was absolutely filthy inside for some reason, dirtiest new car interior I've ever seen, covered in dust!!! They detailed the heck outta it though, and it looks great now!!!):

Weird, IDK why the pic got cut off so bad! It's a full truck shot! (shows the whole front end when viewed on photobucket!) Oh well, I will try and fiddle with it some tomorrow, I gotta go to bed!
