Re: Locker Bypass
Nice, thats what I was guessing. I dont know of anyone else making them. I wonder if there is a big improvement as far as axle hop/wrap goes with those. The big bushings on the factory units have me skeptical.BoldAdventure wrote: ↑Wed Oct 24, 2018 1:53 pmThose are Danny's control arms over at Dodge Off Road.

What's your question? I'll give it a shot, I'm pretty familiar with the system.joeschmidt wrote: ↑Wed Oct 17, 2018 8:15 pmIs Shelby is still a member? I have one of his kits and have a question

Re: Locker Bypass
From day 1 the system works great, but when I turn the knob and lock in the rear, the little knob indicator light does not come on. The rear does lock in just no light. If I lock the front, that light worksRetired BLM Rig wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 10:22 amWhat's your question? Re: Locker Bypass
It sounds like you need to adjust the rear locker relay board. It's not hard. Pull your bypass box so you can remove the 4 cover screws to access the internals. Inside you'll see 3 relays and 2 relay boards. Since you have a Shelby built bypass, I'm not sure if he marked the boards, but one should be marked #1 or "R" for rear. Start your truck so the charging system is providing full voltage and turn your locker knob to "Rear Lock". When you look in the bypass box you should see the 2 red LEDs illuminated, indicating that they have power. Use a tiny screwdriver to turn the adjuster screw of the rear locker relay board "clockwise". It might buzz, but if you turn it a little further it should click and turn on the green LED. Now check your dash control knob to see if the indicator light is working.
If it doesn't work turning clockwise, try counter clockwise.
Good luck and let me know if it works.

Re: Locker Bypass
If the green LED is already on before you make any adjustments, then it's adjusted correctly. If that's the case, then there are a few other possibilities:
- A bad wire connection inside the bypass box.
- One of the pins pushed out of a connector
- A bad wire in the T-harness
- Your factory switch has a burned out indicator bulb
