The White Knuckle sliders did their job. They got landed on from a 3ft drop. The Line-x coating got peeled off in a few spots.

Some videos from Rausch Creek.

For some reason. I can't post videos anymore. What's change?

If I didn't off road. The LineX on the rails would be good. Thinking now. I would have been better off using spray on bed liner from a rattle can. It would be easier touch up. That's what I'm using now for touch up.

The 3L V6 turbo diesel. It's a beast. With the oem 33" tires and 3.73 gears. Around town I was getting 22 mpg. On a trip, 29 mpg. Switching to the 37" tires and still with the 3.73 gears. Around town drop to 18.5 mpg. On a trip, it was 22.5 mpg. I have the Banks Derringer, Pedal Monster, and iDash gauge installed. With the Derringer, I'm over 500 lbs of torque. The Pedal Monster takes away the lazy pedal response.

The diesel really impressed me. I can embarrass a lot of other vehicles. It flat out runs. On the street, there is power everywhere. The 8 speed tranny is perfect. Off road in 4 Lo with the 4 to1 transfer case. Think sometimes, it's too low with the torque of the diesel. It will try to push through the brakes at an idle going over rocks sometimes. Let it idle and use the brakes to control your speed.

The diesel is heavy. Stock, it likes to bottom out on the bump stops. I was a Beta tester for a set of front springs from Clayton. They're a stiffer spring rate and raised the front up 1 inch. A lot of the guys switched to the 2 inch Mopar lift to get away from the bottoming out.

Jeep changed some of the driveline. They are using the new Dana 44 M210 front and M220 axles. It's been said that these are close to the Dana 60's in strength. They come in 2 different widths. The Rubi, Mojave, and Max Tow have the wide axles, While everything else has the narrow axles. The diesel and the Mojave have cast iron steering knuckles. Everyone else has the aluminum knuckles.

There is a recall on the CP4 fuel pump. When it goes bad. They have to replace everything in the fuel system. Lines, injectors, pump, flush the fuel tank. If you had to pay out of pocket. It would be around $11,000 to fix it. Everyone is blaming the lack of lubricity of US diesel fuel compared to the Euro diesel. Most everyone is using something like EDT additive.

I have more to post later.

I've got 400k miles on an 06 cummins. A bit of a different animal but same high pressure fuel system. I've managed to pop injectors one time but other than that everything has held up. Filtration is key with high pressure. I run cat filters with a homemade carter fuel pump setup similar to a fass or air dog. I also run stanadyne all season (blue bottle) 8 months out of the year and switch to their purple lube formula for the winter fuel blends. Mileage goes up with the additive too. Absolutely do not ever use a blend or bio diesel. A local injection shop mechanic couldn't preach that enough. They don't regulate diesel fuel as good as gas. The bio diesel can have some nasty stuff in it that will make your motor run like crap and wreck the fuel system in one fill up.

3. Core 4x4 Crawl Front Track Bar.
4. Core 4x4 Crawl Front Lower Control Arms.
5. Clayton Rear Track Bar with the bend for a 37" spare.
6. Clayton Sway Bar End Links.
7. Bilstein 5100 Shocks.
8.Teraflex Rear Upper Control Arm Extended Travel Brackets.
9. Teraflex Rear Spring Retainer.
10.Teraflex Rear Track Bar Bracket.
11.Teraflex Geo Bracket.

Before picture. Picture with the 2.5" rear springs and with the 3.5" rear springs with 37"tires. I originally wanted a 2.5" lift. So I got the Clayton 2.5" springs for front and rear. I didn't know that the JKS adjustable spring spacer would add 2" of lift by it's self. So I ended up with 4" lift in the front and 2.5" in the rear. The JKs sleeve is tack welded in place, so that wasn't coming off. So I decided to get the Clayton 3.5' rear springs. That leveled out to Jeep.

The 37" tires I got from Walmart. Eldorado Mud Claws. They are made by Cooper tires here in the US. Got them for $276 each. To use them with the Rubi rims. i had to use 1.75" wheel spacers from Teraflex.
