The Warn 69394 was the ticket. It had a wider opening vertically to allow the crimp to reel in tight. I still have a flip up vanity plate bracket to install, for my beach buggy tag. Baja Design lights should be here tomorrow. Here is is with the fairlead. ImageImage

Also have a Factor 55 Ultra Hook on the way. I want to get rid of the clunky OE hook.

Yes, several colors. I picked red because I have some red highlights on the truck. Exactly why I like it. Very clean, tidy look. It feels very safe snugging up by hand. The rubber sits nicely against the rollers. No worries about getting a hand shredded by a cotter pin. It is secured with a nested snap ring. I'm happy to spend coin on something quality like this.

The spec's on that says it's for 3/8" cable. But the PW has 7/16" cable. Will the hook handle the 7/16" cable?

Yes, it handled the 7/16" steel cable no problem, with room to spare. Also, I confirmed with Factor 55 that the closed recovery feature could handle up to 7/8" shackle pins.

I just installed the Baja Designs lights in the Thuren bumper. I used the original fog light harness from the OE bumper so that it would be plug and play with the OE fog light connector and controls in the cab. I clipped off the 2 OE connectors where they connected to the OE fog lights and crimped the 2 provided male connectors to be plug and play with the Baja Designs lights. Since the Thuren bumper is set to bolt through the top surface of the bumper with a counter sunk flat head bolt, I stopped at Ace for the proper bolts. Very tight working space inside the wings to get the washers and nuts on. Sorry about the sun glare, this is the best I could do. Will get some night pics.ImageImage

Night time shots. I do think I need to buy longer bolts with a spacer to better center the pod light in the bumper pocket.ImageImage

I couldn't help myself. I pushed my itchy trigger finger on the order button for a Maple Off-road rear bumper. Just can't deal with the black Thuren on the front and Chrome OE bumper on the rear.

You don't have to cut for Neil's bolt on bumper for 4th gens. It's not looking like he is making one for the 3rd gen, but it might be worth asking.

This one is $1,200, which is comparable to Maple cost wise...

I also spent the better part of the day mocking up / installing the ICECO VL60 dual fridge freezer on a bed slide. I used a piece of plywood to raise the slide so that it would make it over the tailgate, which sits a little higher when opened. I used nutserts in the bed and thumbscrews to bolt through for a removable set up. I also ran 12V power to the bed. So, the way it is set up is the Jackery 1000 plugs into the 12V truck outlet and the fridge plugs into the 12V outlet on the Jackery. So, the fridge gets power from the Jackery and the Jackery gets charged while the truck is running. I still have some detail work to do, but it is running.ImageImageImageImage
