I'm jacking my own build thread and moving it here! I really wasn't expecting to stay on PWR too long, but since you all are pretty kewl I decided to become a more permanent member and changed my name! Since my trucks nickname is Hazzard Wagon that is what it will be here. Thanks to all for your patience!

Latest update. Below is a pic as the Hazzard Wagon sits now. I am waiting for the steering box to get back from PSC so I can finish the steering and have it rolling. It better get here by next week as I would love to have the truck rolling for my Memorial Day event. As soon as the hydro-assist is installed Phase 1 will be finished. As I didn't make it into the Ultimate Adventure my timeline has changed. I will run it for Memorial weekend and then for another wheeling event on the weekend of June 7th. This will give the proper time to shake out the front end upgrades. Parts are ordered now for phase 2 and all should be here by the time it goes back into the shop to start Phase 2.

Just for fun! So Monday I got my new tractor stuck in a field down to the frame. I had three neighbors come over with their 55hp tractors to try to pull it out. They moved it about 6 inches! LOL. I have a log skidder coming today! It should get it out no problem! I hope!!

Very cool pics. Yeah that's a lot of weight sitting on the frame. Dead weight. Lol

Hopefully PSC will have my steering box back this week so I can get it mounted and the hydro-assist installed before the 21st so I can have it to take to my 2014 Spring Plink, Drink n' Trek event over Memorial Weekend. If I do have it I can get some trail shots. Maybe, I'm the "leader" and there are 16 rigs going. I may not have time!

P.S. Crawler stole my hydro-assist thunder by getting his dome first! :thppt:

Did you say PSC hydro assist!!!!! Yes done another thing off my long list lol. Really works awesome! Turns the 40" tires easy with lockers on from dead stop. Good luck.

About time he stayed off the computer and in the garage. He has a schedule and I don't want to hear any excuses that he's not done and can't make the UA lol. Get it done! Hope everything is going good on this project.

New report is the steering box came in yesterday, so it is being installed along with the hydro-assist and it will be driven for two days to make sure the front end is ready and "tuned". I won't need to change anything else in the front before the UA unless the new steering linkages get done.

Therefore there are no new pics to speak of for now. We will start tearing the rear end down Friday and I will have more pictures next week. Please be patient! LOL

Everybody,

As many of you know I was selected to be in Petersen's 4-Wheel and Off-Road's Ultimate Adventure! I want to thank those of you who chimed in for me during the selection process! Thank you!

The destination was announced yesterday so I finally know where I'm going. However, I cannot say where it is. It is to be a secret. Even during the event. That said, we are allowed to blog/post during the trip with at least one day's delay. So, I plan on posting up here with updates etc. during the event. I am not the best at playing on computers, but will do my best to keep all updated.

They are also allowing and encouraging us to post up about our builds and prep for the trip which I will do as well!

Again, thank you for all those who chimed in for me and Mike. I am only going due to Mike's having to bow out this year! As I said in the past I will do my best to make all members here proud! I AM GOING TO PUSH MYSELF AND MY POWER WAGON HARD AND HOPEFULLY PAST IT'S LIMITS!!!!

Best to you and yours Mr. Sutherlin!!

P.S. The Hazzard Wagon's front end is done and working well. On Monday it goes back on the lift for the next several weeks for the rear end work, custom fabrication and interior work. I will do my best to keep all here updated! Assuming you even care of course?

Mister baang i just found out about ultimate adventure. Congratulations. I will be following this one now. The last one that i paid attention to was when they built the diesel jk. Honestly i think i will enjoy your build better. Best of luck. Waterproof everything!! Show them all what a stock pw with bigger tires can do lol.
