Springs are in and holy sh*t do they have travel and droop these are don thuren designed atlas long travel leafs for 6" trucks and man they could easily do 17-18" of shock travel easily I think more like 20" if you had the proper up travel as well!
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1456011429.189994.jpg
also unfortunately found out my suspicions were correct and the lr shock is bypassed and causing the lr to not droop out as much as id like as it's stuck at 10.5-11" of shock shaft rather than the full 12" as you can see by my cockeyed axle with both shocks bolted up! Man that some serious droop! Can't wait for the new shocks!

here's a picture of my "almost" completed switch panel under my heating and air conditioning panel you can tell the arb switches on the left vs the aft market switches on the right as they sit alittle differently even both squared up.... I can live with it tho

Really hoping I just misplaced it and it's somewhere safe but last I remember it was in my centre console where they stole the majority of stuff a few weeks ago...

ya man my driveshaft was actually holding the leafs up at this point after I installed shocks I cut out the skid plate (again) under the rear driveshaft I'll have to add another plate in even lower to allow for the extra swing in the rear end. All in all a pain installing leafs lol in glad devan my buddy in the picture was there to help me.

Had the rear driveshaft rebalanced still have a crazy loud drone/ vibe noise from the truck at speeds 70-80mph I have this feeling it's the shaft but i didn't road test the truck to those speeds before I did the complete rear end swap. Just drove up to maybe 50mph with the shortened rear aluminum shaft to work.

It's actually driving me nuts I guess I'll be putting it on jack stands tomorrow and revving her up to 120km with the fuse for abs pulled to see if I can hear anything unusual or watch the yoke dance or something.... Super annoyed like super annoyed these new gears are awsome but the truck went from nice daily driver and quiet with the hubs in free spin to fast as shit off the line but just as it's shifting to third this loud shit sac noise starts and just wrecks it....

Not the driveshaft swapped with a buddy and noise stayed the same

it's looking like either pinion bearings or ring and pinion are created a growl/ buzz at 70mph+...

I appreciate it. I took as many precautions as I thought were necessary with this whole install but maybe not enough lol also hearing about a few stories about other dodge trucks that pinion preload has loosened off after a new gear install.... Just really hoping gears aren't damaged

does anyone think these angles look different haha... Having a weird vibe from 65+ mph that gets pretty loud... Thought it was pinion bearings so re did them however still no change... Seems to get way worse under heavy throttle or decel and gets quieter/ less vibrations (high speed vibration Deffinately way faster then tire speed)

Think it may be related to rear driveshaft angle as it is speed dependent and does change with load/ drivetrain angle...

Thinking this 11.5aam has a better pinion angle than the 10.5 so maybe the differences are to great between u joint oscillations

Think I found my issue-
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1457402332.617470.jpg
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1457402321.283676.jpg
looks like I've got about 3 degrees difference between slip yoke and pinion yoke angle. Which I'm pretty sure is way to much for highway speeds

You really want them as close to 0° to eachother at your static height unless full compression or full droop pulls it past 4°? +\-? I can't remember but I'd bet if you did a 2° shim then that part would be ok.

I'm going to try a 4* shim and see how that works it looks like 4 degrees would be okay and would put me at a nice angle when accelerating. As the diff nose walks up quite a bit under even light accel

Alien arms ordered... Be pulling off my Carli radius arms and selling them having a few to much movement with them under braking latelly and also a few weird dents and such on some weird front end parts that I can't see contacting on full cycling of the suspension unless the radius arms actually are changing caster erratically under full bump...

Wait woah. That second pic. Shows alien arms mounts. But in front I see Carli radius Arms. Do you already have them??? Or is that someone else's truck with the same changeover happening. I can't say I'm horribly surprised your getting rid of the Carli arms though. They are kinda hokey compared to a true long arm like the aliens. Thurens alien arms are my future plan someday.
