Whoot whoot! Some comparisons for sizes
this is a mini can anyways according to Aaron lol
and I found a spot I'm happy with to mount the air compressor! Obviously alittle higher than where it's sitting but on that pillar rf of the engine bay. Should leave me enough room for snorkels and stuff too if I go that route one day

Running over little cars and Ford trucks isn't considered off roading. Just an FYI. You need to find a new name for it

got the arb in put a desiccant moisture filter on it also. As I'm told exterior compressors are very bad for filling the arb locker with moisture so hopefully this will help. And they were like 1$ I will keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't plug up.

Just have to plumb the locker and figure out a quick connect area for the soft air locker line above the axle that way if one tears I can replace it quickly and easily! I must say wiring the compressor looked daunting with all the switch plugs and what not but it was way easier then I expected. There's really only three connections at the battery and the IGN. And the dash illumination and everything works nicely!
Also have to rig up my air line from that shut off valve pictured to the 5 gallon tank I have but first I have to chop out the factory spare tire mount...

Nice dude. Stop by one of the semi big rig shops. They have all the quick connects you need.

The air line that comes from arb is actually unique to them it appears so all the fittings and shit all have to be 5mm.... I thought about big rig brake system line but couldn't find the right sizes
Colibri is sending me some extra stuff and the quick connects are like 20$ at 4 wheel parts

Totally! I was going to do synflex down the whol frame then just a small union/ quick connect for a blue line section to the axle this way like I said it's easily replaceable with a spare kept in the truck in case ice or something takes it out. I'm going to route it with a hard protective outter layer and mimic the brake lines and and sensors so this way it has a smooth path to follow and less likely to be seperated and cut away.

I just trip on how much you guys know about this stuff.
At what point do you consider the c-gusset?
And those 3.5 kings look are very heavy duty.
Just put my order in for some king 2.5s. Think I have shock envy!

I learn from lots of peoples mistakes and my own lol!
You should consider a truss (c gussets are a secondary truss... Apperantly there's no evidence they are actually required...) if/ when your trucks wheels ever leave the ground even accidently or at slow speeds. If you want to get the most out of those kings look into a Thuren truss. It's a big step but those 2.5's will literally out run your chassis quickly. Everything will feel so smooth the faster you go untill bam! Shit let's go lol
C gussets I think are just to ease some peoples minds
If the main truss is installed properly the knuckles shouldn't ever move-according to don Thuren. The few knuckles he's seen move was actually a truss bent!
https://www.thurenfabrication.com/produ ... s-kit.html
I would be pairing those kings with boogie bumps also!
https://www.thurenfabrication.com/produ ... stops.html
Then you've got a six seater whoop eater that rides Tities on the street

Already have the Boogies on order, along with all the trimmings, Coils, arms, Shackles, Trac bar.
The info I have obtained on this site has defiantly helped me decided to try to do it proper the first time. Not cheap. But worth the cash if it is used and taken care of.
Thanks for the tips
Now I need to get better at posting pics so I can get off the side lines and get in the game with some build pics.
