So yesterday, the welds on my Hydro Assist after 5 flipping years, just went BOOM. Literally two days before I leave for a 10 day trip to Utah.

Well... that's always fun.
Other updates though. My truck finally hit 122k miles and I started doing a lot of necessary maintenance. New brakes front and rear, flush the brake fluid completely, service front and rear axles, flush the transmission, spark plugs, tcase fluid, oil change. Replaced the ends on my Synergy Drag link (tie rod still good) grease everything under the sun.
Went and got the whole underside of the truck cleaned and dry ice blasted to take care of a bunch of rust and then had a rust treatment and repaint done.

My truck has been so flithy for so long. And it was nice having the whole underside completely cleaned for all the work I did on it.
Pulled all the skids off and got them treated and repainted.
Installed a new Hellwig rear sway bar.
Repainted my Axles

Got a new set of KM3's installed.
Repainted bumpers.
Did an entire color correction, seal and polish on the truck to get the paint back to new. Had the carpets cleaned. Completely re-wired all my stuff because I'm an insane person.

So something that happened to me last year, my RTT got destroyed.
You ever catch your pant belt loop on the door handle and you're like WTF?
Well that happened to me, pulling into a parking spot I've pulled into a million times. SOMEHOW, god only knows, I caught the corner of my truck, just right on the tent on a guide wire and it separated the back of the tent from itself. Completely destroying it.
So this year I finally upgraded my RTT and added a 270 degree awning. Got those mounted up yesterday.

And then my other project I finished, I have 200Ah of onboard power finally. With my 20/60 seat delete. With a 20 Amp DC to DC converter and 600 watt inverter and 40 amp solar charge controller.

Last but not least, drive shaft safety loop installed.

Will I buy a new truck?
No. This is the first time I've ever owned a new car for longer than 3 years. This puppy is 10yrs old now. I am fully emotionally attached. And I'd end up just doing all the same mods anyways.
Besides, truck is paid for. I flipped a house this past year and used that money to buy the wife a new Escalade. And with prices, I'd have to find another flip to buy a new truck and I'd still need more money for parts. Yeah.... easier to just build up what I have and do the crazy stuff.
I think soon I will do the AEV Flares and 40's and gears.
AEV just announced a discontinuation of their 4th gen bumpers. Which has me thinking I should buy the flares now, even if I store them in the garage for while. Before those are discontinued too.
